A sneak peak into our outdoor kitchen that's almost complete 🙏🏽 We have been working on the house for more than 2 years now. It has been tough, living in a fixer-upper. We are aiming to finish in the next two months. Be on the lookout for housewarming invites.

This curry-turmeric chicken turned out so good. If you have an airfyer, I recommend using it whenever you make chicken thighs. They're ready in 15 minutes and stay super juicy.
We got one for Christmas from my in-laws and honestly, it's a life saver. And a time saver.

Sooooo, If you don't have an airfryer, I recommend getting one. 😅

Sunday for us is a recharging day when we rest, eat and spend quality time connecting.
Last Sunday was allllll about that steak...

Having our Brazilian family members living close by, we have been eating a lot of Picanha lately. Hands down it's becoming my favorite cut.

I'm just waiting for L to get home to make some more tonight.. 😆🤤

This quick office setup definitely makes us more productive in getting paperwork done.

Like many parts of the house, this room also needs more work (paint, moldings, terrazzo polish etc), but it doesn't mean we shouldn't already enjoy the comfort of it.

Since we bought our home, we knew one of our favorite spots would be the Florida room. It's part of the house and enclosed so we get AC, and a beautiful view to our backyard.

We don't belive in spending all the crazy money on new furniture and we often buy second hand treasure like these Mid Century Modern chairs we got for 60 bucks for a staging once.

The table belonged to our sweet 80-year old lady friend, Jolika that we met after an unfortunate tragedy of her losing her young son.
We helped her through the process of getting her house ready to be sold.
The mission was successful and now she is back in our home country, Hungary. She is reunited with her other son.

She gifted us the table and we are glad to use it until it serves us. It goes with our unique style.
Now when I sit down to it, I remember her playing candy crush on her computer while having a meal, giggling, happily appreciating our company.

The fridge is supposed to be our "drink fridge", but we don't drink much lately, so in case you need a beer when visiting, bring a six pack! 😏

Now I'm thinking maybe we should keep the chocolate stash here?? 😆

Sansevieria, also called Snake Plant is a winner to keep indoors.

A great friend of mine is a holistic healer and I once saw him posting about this plant and its great benefits. It got my attention since we have them growing all around our backyard so we brought some inside.


Its good qualities:

• filters indoor air

• removes toxic pollutants

• may help boost mental health

• easy to care for

• effective against allergies

• may help enhance the “energy” of a space, according to feng shui

• can help with minor ailments.
