Preserving Aviation History — One Flight at a Time.

We had the honor of filming something truly rare: the very first Yak-54 ever built — serial number #0001. This Russian-designed aerobatic plane was the prototype, the original, and the first of its kind.

There’s surprisingly little documentation out there on this remarkable aircraft. That’s why, for me and my dad, this project means more than just capturing footage. It’s about preserving a piece of aviation history.

Tony holds the original documentation for the plane, and together we’re working to make that information publicly accessible for the broader aviation community. The goal: ensure this one-of-a-kind aircraft isn’t lost to time, but shared, studied, and celebrated.

For these girls, the future is full of possibilities.

As part of Test Flight Studios' community outreach, we had the opportunity to volunteer our time and talent to film a promo for the Totally Tailgate event for Girls Inc. of Sarasota County back in 2023. This video holds a special place for us — it captures both the bright dreams of girls just starting their journey, and the inspiring stories of those who’ve already walked the path and are building the futures they once imagined.

It’s an honor to support organizations like Girls Inc. of Sarasota, who are equipping these girls with life skills and real-world opportunities — even before they reach college.

Test Flight Studios Biggest Production Yet! (Well… until Fall 2025, that is.)

The Joshua Tree Tribute Concert Film — performed by the Music Compound Album Ensemble — was a major creative milestone for me and the program directors, Iain Harris and Taylor Galford.

Inspired heavily by U2’s Rattle and Hum, we leaned into a bold visual style: black-and-white footage, low-key lighting, and a ‘loose hand-held camera work.’ But the real spotlight belongs to the Ensemble. Their layered, nuanced instrumentation and powerhouse vocals brought a magic to this production that’s hard to put into words.

I’ll always be proud to have been part of the launch team for Jenny Alday Townsend's Amazon Best Seller, Stroke It: Your Guide to Enhancing Every Relationship — Especially with Yourself.

While this was a large-scale campaign, one of my favorite pieces was the video we created for her Public Book Launch Celebration. It was incredible to see a whole community come together in support of someone who’s made such a powerful impact.

Anyone who knows Jenny knows the heart she brings to everything she does — and this event was a reflection of that. Watching her interact with guests, hearing the stories, feeling the energy in the room… it was clear she was the perfect person to write Stroke It.

There’s so much sincerity and love captured in this video — and I truly think that comes through.

Months of collecting B-Roll was totally worth it! Our Piaggio P.180 Restoration video has now passed 55,000 views — and it’s been amazing to see how much the audience enjoyed it.

We documented the entire process of restoring this Piaggio, from its original state to gutting, engine upgrades, interior design, fabrication, installation, and finally — a first test flight.

No matter how many times I watch this video, it still gets me. “The Gift of a Second Chance” tells the powerful real-life stories of young people whose lives have been changed for the better through Teen Court of Sarasota.

Collaborating with this organization is something I truly value — their work is making a real, lasting difference not just for the teens, but for the community as a whole.

We created this video for their 2024 scholarship dinner, and it remains one of my favorite projects we've produced at Test Flight Studios. Knowing the heart behind the event — and the incredible dedication of Heather Todd and her team — made it all the more meaningful. Give it a watch!

Last night, I made my directorial debut 🎬 at the premiere of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band at Music Compound. I'm so overwhelmed to have seen something we’ve spent countless hours crafting with so much love and care shown on the "big screen". There is no way to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this production, especially Jenny Alday Townsend, Iain Harris, and Taylor Galford. Thank you for your time, energy, resources, and trust in making this film—one we will be proud of for years to come. 🎵
