Spent this afternoon at the South Tampa Chamber Women’s Connection listening to Lauren Wittenberg Weiner talk through Mission-Unruly, then got my copy of Unruly signed.
I build AI systems for HVAC, manufacturing, and B2B companies. Most rooms I walk into, I’m the only woman at the table, and I’ve had to earn the seat more than once. Some days that’s motivating. Some days it’s exhausting.
Hearing from a woman who built her career by refusing to accept the rules as written was the reminder I needed. The rules weren’t made with us in mind. That’s exactly why we get to rewrite them.
To the women building in industries that weren’t designed for you: keep going. And if you were in the room today, drop a comment so we can connect. 🤝
