Shipyard Weekends returns for a fall voyage. This three-day sprint brings emerging talent, experienced mentors and local nonprofits together to turn real community challenges into real solutions. Will you be aboard?
We’re looking for three kinds of people to join the crew:
⚓ NONPROFITS: Bring us the challenge that keeps getting pushed down the list. The operational roadblock. The bottleneck. The big opportunity you know is there, but haven’t had the time, bandwidth or resources to tackle.
⚓ MENTORS: Put your experience to work for the greater good. Help a team navigate the challenge, ask better questions, push ideas further and turn a promising concept into something that can actually work.
⚓ PARTICIPANTS: Ages 16–25, this is your chance to show us what you can do. You’ll join a team, choose a nonprofit challenge and spend the weekend building a real solution. There are prizes (and a pretty great trophy) on the line, but you’ll also leave with new connections, access to industry leaders and something tangible to add to your portfolio.
