I saw my son today. He is only 22, but looks exhausted. Because he is. He has not showered in months. He has no home. He has already had part of one hand amputated because of an infection caused by IV drug use. He has nearly died and lost his arm because of the same thing. He is a walking bag of bones. I cried and asked him, "Do you know how hard it is for me, as a mother, to see you like this?" He looked up at me in the eye and said, "Do you know how hard it is for me to stand here in front of you like this?"
Those words hit me hard today.

You may be struggling with any number of things. You may be hurting, ashamed, feel dirty, and afraid to go before your Father. You may feel like there is no use in asking for help or forgiveness. You may feel like you have lost a part of yourself and are damaged goods. You may have given up on all hope of a beautiful future or the good things He has planned for you. His love is fathomless and holds no comparison to human love.... so I can assure you, as a human mother with only human love.... go to JESUS. There is no doubt in my mind that HE will embrace you. HE loves you more now than HE ever could. You have not failed HIM too much. You have not gone too far. You may fall and rise, and fall and rise, and fall and rise.... but don't you ever think for one second that HE has lost patience with you or turned HIS face from you. Keep looking up. HE loves you deeply and will never stop loving you. HE only sees you through eyes of love.
If there is one thing in this life I know for sure..... it is that!
