After an 8 hour drive through the countryside of Costa Rica with your bestie will make a mark on you. There were steep grades, High elevations, ears popping, wet roads, rain, and beautiful views. We even found a vegan restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I drove from Guanacaste to Liberia to Arenal and then down to Uvita. What a trip.

We pulled over the side of our gravel road coming out of our beautiful Villa on top of a mountain in Uvita and we saw our second Blue Marble butterfly fluttering just before these photos. 💙

Hey there, my name is Kat, and I want to be your photographer! I’m a learner and want to evolve in photography arts. I am a self taught artist with over 10 years of experience behind the camera. I have also been in front of the camera even longer which helps me shine in directing the subject smoothly and confidently. I believe this contributes to the expression and emotion behind each photo since the photographed knows that I KNOW what they are going through.
