Adirondack Health Institute has helped spearhead a new effort to distribute lifesaving naloxone to public places around our region, and a new website has been set up to find locations. Warren County Public Health and Warren County Department of Social Services were among the partners working with the Alliance for Positive Health to determine recommended locations.
Publicly accessible boxes are filled with four doses of Narcan and are intended for emergency use during a suspected overdose.

The 31st Annual Festival of Trees is 1 week away! Be sure to swing by The Queensbury Hotel November 25th - 27th for the holiday festivities! The general festival hours are 11am to 6pm on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th, then 11am to 3pm on Sunday the 27th.
Photos with Santa and kids activities will be available up until 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and the entire duration of the event on Sunday. Breakfast With Santa Claus will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 10:30am each day. Kids activities will also be available during the breakfast. You can register for Breakfast With Santa at cfdsny.org, or by calling 518.832.6113.
There will be no general admission fee; there is a fee for photos with Santa as well as the kids activities. The price to attend Breakfast With Santa is $20 for adults and $15 for kids, with children 2 years old and younger free. There will also be entertainment throughout the general festival.
