There are endless tools and options available when it comes to social media marketing, and these are a few of our favorites!

1. Video editing: when it comes to editing a lot of video content specifically for Instagram and Facebook, Edits is a great tool. And Meta has confirmed that when you edit content with Edits, it can help extend your reach.

2. Scheduling content is a must for our team and we always onboard our clients with Planoly.

3. We like to use a mix of camera shot content and phone content- depending on what the goal is and what type of content is being recorded.

4. Claude is our research go-to to see what is actually being searched for and discussed on social media.

5. Mics, mics and more mics 🤯 - there are SO many options! Our favorite is the DJI MIC 2 or 3. You can’t beat the audio quality. 🎤

No it’s not forgetting trending audio or using the right keywords…the one mistake you’re probably making is always playing it safe!

When it comes to social media marketing, playing it safe won’t get you very far and it usually won’t get you the results you’re looking for.

➕ You have to be willing to take chances, remain open to new ideas, and test, test, test!

➕ And remember, social media is a space to inspire, educate, laugh and enjoy!

FACTS. Just saying you’re going to “get content” will almost always result in zero content being attained. 😂

This is why we love a strategy and we love a plan! Every content shoot we work on with a client has a 4 step process to ensure we get what we need and what will perform.

1. Research and strategy! You can’t go into a shoot without knowing what you’re up against on social and what your specific strategy is going to be.

2. Shot list! We ♥️ an organized and thorough shot list workbook complete with concepts, shot type, content phase, models, scripts and more.

3. Prop gathering BEFORE the shoot. Solid props and tools make all the difference.

4. On the fly ideas! While we live by our shot list, we are always open to spontaneous ideas that pop up during a shoot- sometimes those are the best!
