We had a chance this weekend to take the Twilight Walking Tour at Oakwood Cemetery Troy NY held by Friends of Oakwood Cemetery. If you’ve never been to Oakwood Cemetery please take time to experience in this historic resting place of the many who helped shape Troy. 🪦🪦🪦

In a preparation for the Fall season we took a walking tour of the Colonial Cemetery in Johnstown. It’s amazing how much history is within a short distance from the Capital Region of New York. The weather was perfect for it and we enjoyed hearing about some of the past paranormal experiences. Thank you for a nice evening Johnstown Historical Society!

Brunswick Historical Society gives tours of Forest Park “Pine Woods” Cemetery in Troy, New York each Fall. First incorporated in 1897, Forest Park Cemetery was to include winding trails and a large receiving tomb and the entrance. Although some of the original plans never came to fruition this cemetery gained plenty of notoriety for its flare for the Paranormal leading to long lived ghost stories and haunted experiences. Stories of bleeding statues and dark energy have been a large draw over the years. My experiences walking through the cemetery have been primarily peaceful although I’ve never been there in the dark👻. The tours are a must!

New York State Capital Building Can’t have a top list of Haunted locations near New York’s Capital Region without the New York State State Capital building and the Capital Hauntings tours. Not only do you get a walk through history, you’ll hear about the night watchman who still haunts the hallways after passing in a 1911 fire, plus it’s absolutely FREE!

The Fort William Henry Museum located in Lake George, NY is a hidden gem in the Capital Region. Enjoy this reconstructed French and Indian War-era fort and take in the history from the 1700’s. Make sure to take the haunted history ghost tours offered. As a paranormal enthusiast it’s impossible not to feel the energy from the land itself.

The Historic Salem Courthouse located in Salem, New York. Over 150 year’s of history lines the walls of this amazing structure. There’s places in this building that transport you right back to 1869. If you love the experience of Paranormal energy then this is the place for you!

Saratoga County Homestead is one of our favorite haunted locations near New York’s Capital Region. Built in 1914 and located in Middle Grove, New York.
