* WHAT...Significant icing. Total ice accumulations up to 0.5 to 0.7
inches expected.

* WHERE...Portions of the southeastern Adirondacks.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Very slippery sidewalks, roads
and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Monday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A period of freezing rain is expected
overnight into tomorrow morning. The freezing rain will gradually
change to rain tomorrow morning as temperatures rise above
freezing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power outages.

limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

the overnight hours, especially across the eastern Catskills,
Mohawk Valley, Greater Capital District, northern Taconics, and
southern Vermont.

State Police will have a heavy presence on I-87 Northway from Exit 28 (North Schroon Lake: US 9, NY 74 to Ticonderoga) through Exit 20 (Fort Ann, Queensbury, Lake George, NY 149 & US 9) due to an ongoing investigation. There is no current threat to the public. Drivers are asked to avoid the area but if travel is necessary please stay alert and use caution.
