First day of school is here!! 🚌📚

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! 🥹

Watching her walk away and say goodbye to us this morning was both such an amazingly proud moment, but also so difficult!!!!

Knowing how much she has gone through to get to this point, and seeing how far she has come makes us immensely proud. But handing her over and not being with her through everything, letting her spread her wings, was so emotional.

Happy first day, Octavia. We love you so much!! 💕

We unfortunately lost a lot of stuff in the recent flood that hit. Including a lot of Octavia’s cancer journey memories. 🥺

And while that hurts a lot to see those destroyed, the positive sides are: Octavia is still here, she is healthy, and continues to move in the right direction with her numbers. It could have been a lot worse, and most things can be replaced. We’re counting our many blessings of the things we do still have! 💕

On the BEST note…. In one month our sweet, strong, beautiful, hilarious little fighter will be STARTING PRE-K!!! 📚✏️🚌

To say we’re all very excited for this milestone is an understatement. She is so beyond excited to meet her teachers and make new friends and have yet another piece of normalcy added back to her life!
