The Falcons advanced to the section championship with an 8-3 win over Eden Valley-Watkins in the elimination bracket finals, with Noah Brunn and Teddy Rasmussen delivering two-out RBI doubles in a four-run fifth inning that broke a 3-3 tie.

Also coming up clutch when it mattered was Jack Abfalter, who hurled a complete game while allowing only one earned run.

Foley will face the Cathedral Crusaders in the section finals at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud. It will need to defeat the Crusaders twice to advance to state.

Good luck, Falcons!
