At 15 She Was Kidnapped At Gunpoint — Held 18 Hours — She Memorized EVERY Detail And Escaped Serial Killer. Where Is She Now? 🙏💪

One of the most unbelievable survival stories ever.

On June 24, 2002 — West Columbia, SC — 15-year-old Kara Robinson was watering plants in friend's front yard when Richard Evonitz, 38, pulled up in Pontiac Trans-Am, pretended to hand pamphlets, asked "Are your parents home?"

Then pressed gun to her neck, forced her into large plastic storage bin in backseat.

For 18 hours in his apartment — while his wife was in Disney World — he t_rt_r_d and repeatedly a_ _ulted her, handcuffed her to bed.

But Kara's mindset saved her: "Gather information, wait for him to be complacent, escape."

She memorized everything — how many turns car took, serial number on bin, radio station, his apartment layout. While he slept, she freed hand with teeth, unclipped leg restraint, unbolted 2 locks and RAN to parking lot, flagged down 2 men who drove her to police substation.

Her memory led police straight to apartment — uncovered evidence linking Evonitz to 3 teenage m_rders in Virginia — Sofia Silva 16, sisters Kati and Kristin Lisk 12 & 15. He fled to Florida June 27, police chase, he took his own life before arrest.

If Kara hadn't escaped, she would have been next.

Kara Robinson Chamberlain, now 38, is married, mom of 3, living in South Carolina. Victims advocate, author, keynote speaker, executive producer, host of podcast _A Survivor's Guide to True Crime_. She helped create Lifetime movie _The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story_ (2021).

And NOW Oct 7, 2026 — starring with Evonitz's ex-wife Bonnie Lou Gower in ID docuseries _The Serial Killer Connection_ — they team up to find if he had MORE victims — FBI asked agencies to review cold cases since 2007.

Kara says: "Even negative things — we get to choose if that's going to define us or refine us. Choose your path forward."

He's STILL Making Us Laugh! 😭❤️ John Stamos Says Bob Saget Is Living Through His 8-Year-Old Son!

John Stamos, 63, received the inaugural Bob Saget Legacy Award at Scleroderma Research Foundation's Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine fundraiser in LA on Tuesday Oct 13, 2026 — 4 years after losing his best friend Bob Saget, 65, on Jan 9, 2022 in Orlando.

In exclusive chat with PEOPLE, Stamos said: "I'll tell you, he is really living through my son. I'm always looking for signs... I swear to God, I see Bob and my son now all the time."

His son Billy, 8, with wife Caitlin McHugh, 39, has "toilet Tourette's" just like Bob's legendary dirty humor! Stamos laughed: "Today he came home and said, 'Mom, Dad, p**p. That's Bob.' So Bob is making me laugh through my son, which is really special."

Another: Grandparents bought Billy lemon See's candy — Billy said: "I don't want that. It tastes like p*e. Don't ask me how I know." — Stamos: "That's a Bob Saget joke!"

Sweetest part: John & Billy wrote a children's book together — _Love From Above: A Story of Tiny Birds and Their Big Meaning_ — about spirits returning as hummingbirds — inspired by hummingbird that appeared after Bob's passing. Coming April 20, 2027.

Stamos added: "God, he would have loved Billy, and Billy would have loved him."

The fundraiser raised nearly $1.1 MILLION for scleroderma research — cause close to Bob's heart after sister Gay Saget died 1994. Bob was board member for years.

Bob's death ruled blunt head trauma from unwitnessed fall. Full House family — 1987-1995, Fuller House 2016-2020 — still honoring him.

New Baby Alert… But What's His Name?! 🐶💙 Kelly & Mark's Kids Want a Vote!

Live with Kelly and Mark just got CUTER!

Kelly Ripa, 56, and Mark Consuelos, 55, officially adopted a rescue Shih Tzu puppy they met during Adopt a Dog Week — first called Lucas by Pet ResQ Inc. New Jersey, now called Javi (short for Javier) — Mark thinks he might be part Havanese!

They introduced him Oct 12 on Live, and by Oct 13 announced: "We have news: We adopted Javi yesterday. We have a new baby!"

But drama at home — their 3 adult kids Michael 29, Lola 25, Joaquin 23 all fighting for a say!

On Oct 14 show Kelly said: "We're going through something at home... Our children are adults. They do not live with us, so they have no vote. But they feel totally entitled to the name of our new dog. I was like, Stay out of it. You don't live here!"

Mark agreed: "They have no vote."

Kids throwing names — Lola loves Javi, others suggested Gizmo, and Mark even threw Romulus that morning — Kelly: "Nothing rolls off tongue like Romulus! That's a big dog name!"

Now down to 2 finalists: Lucas vs Javi. Studio audience voted — Javi won by cheers! Instagram poll also live. Final decision still open.

Kelly says late dog Chewie, Shih Tzu who died Feb 2025 at 17, sent Javi: "My beloved dog who I will never get over sent this little dog here."

This comes 20 months after losing Chewie. They also have dog Lena (Maltese/Shih Tzu) adopted 2020 — had chemistry test meet-cute on set!

Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin, 51, is speaking out after estranged son Collin Gosselin, 22, released scathing memoir _In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood_ Oct 13.

Collin alleged — locked alone in basement "holding cell" with air mattress, zip-tied wrists, slapped on set, isolated so long he urinated on floor, pulled from school after teacher noticed injuries.

Kate responded NOT with statement, but in TikTok comments Oct 10 under dog video — after fan wrote "It should be illegal to defame someone that way."

Kate replied: "Thank you so much. I know rational logical ppl or anyone who has dealt with mental illness understands what's going on here:)"

She also liked comment: "He will regret all this someday... encouraged by dysfunctional and mentally ill people" and wrote "Exactly! I had nothing to do with it, except for consent because it was medically necessary" — referring to his 2016-2018 stay at Fairmount Behavioral Health when he was 12-14.

Collin lived with dad Jon + sister Hannah since 2018. Says mom visited only once in 20+ months, told him "You broke our family." Now wants apology, hopes mom reads book.

Kate previously said he needed help for "troubled behavior."

Awkward Start in the Briefing Room — What Happened During the New Press Secretary's First Briefing?

Katie Zacharia, 41, held her first White House press briefing on Monday Oct 13, 2026, after being named by President Donald Trump on Oct 9 to succeed Karoline Leavitt.

The briefing lasted about 14-15 minutes, with prepared remarks praising the President and three questions taken before ending.

The moment getting the most coverage: When asked how she would balance the demanding role with raising four children (ages 12, 10, 8, 6), Zacharia said:

"The idea of not spending evenings with my kids is completely unacceptable, so my president — excuse me, my husband, that's a good one," prompting laughter in the room.

She added her husband Tyler Zacharia was in town for family birthdays and that her family would move to Washington DC from California.

Other points from the briefing drawing discussion:
- Asked about U.S. intelligence sharing with Ukraine after President Trump's confrontation with President Zelensky, she said she would have to get back to the reporter.
- Asked about U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle, outlets reported she confirmed President Trump had asked for a transition.
- Question about bar passage location answered "When I moved to China" led to further questions about credentials, with some reports noting no record found of bar passage.

Supporters noted first briefings are difficult and praised her focus on family and working mothers. Critics described the debut as nervous and said she needs to improve quickly.

Karoline Leavitt left the role in August to spend more time with family and take a role with Fox News.

Richmond, Utah community shattered.

Cache County Sheriff identified victims found Sat Oct 10 at 12:15pm in triplex at 345 W Main St after neighbors heard C_ Mon_x_de al_rms going off for HOURS — since 8am/9am.

Father: *Fermin Palafox Herrera, 43*, found in garage with vehicle still running, per KSL. His children: *Abraham Palafox, 16*, and *Emily Guadalupe Palafox, 11*.

Other two: Siblings from Peru — *Jesus Gabriel Alejandro-Soto, 11*, and *Gritshen Sadashi Alejandro-Soto, 5* — who lived with their dad, coworker of Herrera. Both dads had custody, shared apartment.

Neighbor entered adjoining unit after al_rms wouldn’t stop — found Herrera. Deputies found 4 kids inside. CO levels so high they EXCEEDED detectors. Neighboring apartments evacuated — one neighbor hospitalized.

Sheriff D. Chad Jensen says appears accidental, still investigating vehicle, awaiting medical examiner. GoFundMe established.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, 56, serving 50 months at FCI Fort Dix NJ after 2025 conviction, was rushed by ambulance early Saturday Oct 10 with head injury — now mystery solved!

TMZ sources inside prison say Diddy got into physical fight Friday Oct 9 with Jamaican drug kingpin Christopher "Dudus" Coke — 23-year sentence since 2012, considered real kingpin inside Fort Dix.

Why fight? Sources say NBC News exposed Diddy's alleged luxury life behind bars — paying thousands/month for massages, gourmet meals, laundry, cleaning, plus Hennessy, contraband cellphone scrolling Instagram & explicit pics. Video leaked.

After report, prison did at least 2 raids, confiscated phones — including Dudus's phone. Dudus & other inmates furious — blamed Diddy for getting everyone in trouble.

Diddy was already in solitary (SHU) for privileges scandal — fight happened during daily break. Diddy got worst of it — severe but non-life-threatening head injury, conscious when returned before 7am Saturday.

Both placed in SHU 2 weeks punishment. BOP hasn't officially confirmed. Diddy spokesman Juda Engelmayer: "Sean's health and well-being are our immediate concern."

Release date pushed from Jan 21, 2028 to March 2, 2028 after violations.

Kaley Cuoco, 40, and fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 44, have welcomed their baby girl — *Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey* — born Monday Oct 12, 2026, shared Oct 14 on Instagram with intimate hospital photos.

In the photo, Kaley is glowing in hospital bed, holding tiny Philomena wrapped in blanket — skin-to-skin moment. She captioned: "There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing... We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete 😭"

Tom posted his own: "Another miracle. Welcome youngest queen! Kaley you're a CHAMPION."

The couple met at Ozark premiere April 2022, got engaged Aug 2024, and share 3-year-old Matilda born March 2023. Matilda now big sister in "Big Sister" shirt waiting at home!
