Pouch Pies Cottage Pie Review

Tried the Pouch Pies Cottage Pie today, and I’ve got to say — the taste was really good. Nice, comforting flavor, and the balance of meat to vegetables felt just right.

The downside? It’s definitely on the smaller side. It works well as a hearty snack on its own, or as dinner if you add a couple of sides.

At $8.50, it feels a bit steep for the portion you get.

Would I buy it again? Maybe — if I were really craving cottage pie. And I certainly wouldn’t turn it down if someone offered it to me.

Tried the Beer Battered Alaska Cod this week.

Before cooking, the pieces looked like a good sandwich size. After cooking… they shrank quite a bit — more like dinner roll size. A little disappointing.

Taste was okay. Much better with a squeeze of lemon.

Would I buy it again? Probably not.
