Episode 159, Latin American stories RE-RELEASE: Janey’s story, “The Wife Who Could Remove Her Own Head”, came from ‘s book “The Sister Who Ate Her Brothers”, illustrated by Adam de Souza. It is a Salvadoran re-telling, most likely based on the story “Double Head”. (Jen Campbell we love you so much, please include your sources in future books.)

Episode 159, Latin American stories RE-RELEASE: Max’s story (from episode 13) is about the Mayan goddess Ix Chel. Here are two statues to the goddess of rainbows, which can be found in Cozumel and Isla Mujeres (Mexico).
