Episode 180: Janey’s story this week was “A Toy Princess” by Mary De Morgan. The first image is an illustration by William De Morgan, depicting the fairy Tabernet purchasing the toy princess at the local fairy shop. The second is a picture of Mary as a Victorian child, clearly fantasizing about having a toy version of her pose for this dumb picture so she can go back to making mud pies and being mean to boys. 😜 (we love her)
