Birmingham, England's city council has announced that the city will say its final "goodbyes" to their hometown legend, Ozzy Osbourne, tomorrow.

A procession carrying the Prince of Darkness' hearse will travel through the city alongside his family, ending at the Black Sabbath bridge and bench on Broad Street. It will begin at 8am EST.

Ozzy will then be laid to rest in a private funeral.

Heat Advisory and Cooling Centers from the City of Savannah:

A heat advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service NWS and will be in effect from until 8 PM this evening with ‘Feels Like’ temps up to 115 degrees.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.

If you work or spend time outside try to reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening and wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.

The Coastal Empire & Lowcountry are under a heat advisory with a Heat Index up to 109 degrees until 10AM Sunday.

Cooling centers are now open and the city’s pools have extended hours starting today.

Please be heat smart & check on your friends and neighbors.

💦 Starting today, July 26, the City is extending weekend pool hours through September 21 with two swim sessions available:

GDOT plans to hold a meeting with Tybee Island residents this Fall regarding proposed Highway 80 improvements. Give their Facebook a follow if you want to stay updated.

Georgia DOT plans to hold a community meeting with the residents of Tybee Island later this Fall on the US 80 Safety Improvements.

GDOT is working with the City of Tybee Island to coordinate this event. Although the date has not yet been confirmed, the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the proposed safety and operational improvements along US 80/SR 26, from Lazaretto Creek to Tybrisa Street. Once the date is set, the Department will invite the community to join us and learn about updated information and additional data related to the project, which has the potential to significantly enhance safety and operational efficiency on Tybee Island.
