What a powerful and meaningful experience! It was truly an honor to serve as the emcee for Daughters Without Mothers, a beautiful event centered on love, strength, healing and community.

Each speaker, performance, award recipients all hit the mark with their message and it's important to know you can have a second chance in life and you should live your life as you take the lessons left behind with you.

A special thank you to Yolandra Shipp and Carla O'Berry for creating a space for people to come together and unpack and take away some tools to heal and press on in their journey. Some events you host, and others stay with you. This was definitely one of them. 💚

The TEDxSavannah 2026 stage featured incredible voices, including Kareem McMichael who brought a powerful reminder of why our stories matter.
