My fathers viewing will be held Tuesday evening 5-9pm at landmark Pentecostal church in Stantonville, TN.
The funeral will be held at mars hill cemetery Leapwood TN Wednesday between 12:30-1 o’clock.
That being said I’m going to take my dad on one last ride in our boat on the TN river, going to put the boat in the water around 10AM ride him around one last time and I want to ask everyone to meet us at river heights boat ramp at 11:30 Wednesday for the procession. I understand this is not a conventional funeral but I feel like one last ride on the river is the very least I can do I’d also like to ask everyone to try and be in the procession to go to the cemetery. I know I’m asking a lot but the man done a lot for the community and everyone around.

The address to the church for the viewing is

10135 TN/142 Stantonville TN 38379.

If you have any questions message or we can talk at the viewing.

Well, our first migrant to Canada this year had a bit of a head start on the rest of our ducks. This drake American black duck was captured at Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge in November 2022. He spent his summer in the marshes of Saginaw Bay in Michigan but did not head back south in early November like he did the previous year. Instead, this drake spent his entire winter in mid-Michigan using the abundant open water that was available due to an unusually warm winter. During the cold snap in January, he focused his time on wastewater ponds and flowing rivers that remained open. On March 12 he decided to make the jump across Lake Huron and is currently using the marshes and bays on the west side of Georgian Bay, Ontario.
