Choice 102, WAVR Playing Classic Hits from the 70's and 80's coupled with an extensive commitment to community events, local news, and sports programming.

WATS-AM signed on as Bradford County's first radio station in July of 1950. Its call letters stand for Waverly, Athens, Towanda, Sayre. Then station owner Robert Kloss added WAVR-FM in 1974. Current owners Dave and Irene Radigan purchased the stations on November 1st, 2020 and immediately institued a locally programmed classic hits format, coupled with an extensive commitment to community events, local news, small business marketing and high school sports.

🎉 Game Day Parade & VFW Bike Night – Important Info!

This Saturday, August 30th, Broad Street will be the heart of the action as we celebrate Game Day and VFW Bike Night!
Please take note of the following street closures and plan ahead:

🚧 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Broad Street (between Clark St. & Pennsylvania Ave) will be closed for the Game Day Parade and festivities.

📣 We’re asking all community members and business employees to move vehicles off Broad Street before 9:00 AM to keep the area clear and safe.

🚧 3:00 PM – ~9:00 PM
Broad Street (between Clark St. & Loder St.) will remain closed for VFW Bike Night, which kicks off at 3:00 PM and runs until around 9:00 PM.

🅿️ Whether you're attending the events or just enjoying our wonderful downtown businesses, please plan ahead for parking and street closures.
