Dear Readers,

I wanted to share an important personal update.

After much thought, I’ve made the decision to take a sabbatical from writing until at least October 1, 2026.

This decision comes in light of serious and ongoing challenges in my personal life. I have been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, a complex and unpredictable health condition, and my family is currently facing significant medical and personal circumstances that require my full attention and presence.

These are not short-term situations, and there is a great deal of uncertainty ahead.

Rather than attempt to push through and produce work that doesn’t meet the standard you deserve—or that I expect from myself—I’ve chosen to step back and focus where I’m most needed right now.

I also want to acknowledge that the historical romance market has been shifting, and many authors are navigating those changes. I plan to use this time to rest, regroup, and thoughtfully consider the path forward.

Please know this is not a permanent goodbye. I remain committed to writing and to the stories I’ve shared with you.

I will still be here—connecting with readers and staying engaged with this community.
