My newest project— a fruit and flower stand.

I have over 100 Dahlia plants from my son’s wedding last year, plus a bunch of other flowers. I also have about 15 fruit trees, rhubarb, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, and herbs.

Two of my other neighbors started a farm stand and invited me to participate. I figured why not?

It's National Donut Day!

None of my historical romance characters will be noshing on ring-shaped donuts.

The modern ring-shaped donut is widely credited to a New England sailor named Hanson Gregory, who, according to his 1916 account, punched a hole in the center of the dough in 1847 to solve the problem of raw centers in fried dough balls.

But, I do have a character in mind for a RomCom who owns a bakery.. Naturally, I must do much research!
