“You Don’t Have to Sound Hypnotic to Be Hypnotic.”

Here’s the wild thing:

If you can build rapport, track emotion, and stay curious…
you’re already doing the foundations of conversational hypnosis.

But when you start trying to “sound hypnotic,” you usually leave the moment.
You go up into your head.
You start reaching for the “right” words.

And that’s when sessions get clunky.

Inside Enter the Loop, I teach you how to recognize trance as it naturally shows up and guide change without scripts, without pressure, without that weird feeling of “am I doing hypnosis right now?” 😅

🌀 You don’t need more tools. You need more trust + better noticing.

“That should’ve worked…” is one of the loneliest thoughts in this work.

The breakthrough doesn’t come from the technique, it comes from the loop. 🌀

Because most clients don’t stay stuck because they haven’t heard the right reframe…
They stay stuck because they’re running the same internal sequence on repeat:

Same sentence.
Same feeling.
Same “I know, but…”
Same body response.

And if you only swap techniques, you might get movement… but you don’t always get change that sticks.

When you learn to spot the loop in real time, the language, the micro-shifts, the repetition, the avoidance, you stop trying to “do something” to the client…

…and you start guiding the part of them that’s already doing the work.

That’s where the session gets quiet.
That’s where the nervous system softens.
That’s where the breakthrough actually happens.

Most practitioners listen for what happened.

I teach you to listen for how the problem is structured. 🌀

Your client is already giving you the coordinates.

👇 I’ll show you what I mean in the first comment.

Sometimes the best proof is what happens after the session. 🌀

You know you’re one of us if…

you’ve ever apologized internally for not sounding “hypnotic enough.” 😅

“Was that too direct?”
“Should I be more subtle?”
“Do I need a hypnosis voice?” 🙃

I want you to hear this:

Your client doesn’t need you to perform hypnosis.

They need you to be with them.

Because the most hypnotic thing you can do isn’t changing your voice or finding the perfect phrase.

It’s noticing the moment they shift.
Trusting the pause.
Listening beneath the words.

That’s when the real work happens.

Nominalizations are how the unconscious stays efficient.

“Confidence” can mean: safety, permission, worth, power, calm, certainty… depending on the person.

So if you try to fix “confidence” without unpacking it, you’re basically giving directions to someone who just said, “Take me somewhere better.”

Instead, slow down and ask:
“Confidence… in what moments?”
“What happens in your chest when you imagine having it?”
“What would be different tomorrow morning?”

That’s how you help the nervous system receive something real.

I don't always listen for answers.

I listen for openings. 🌀

This clip comes from one of our live Enter the Loop classes where we're unpacking a session step by step.

One of the easiest mistakes to make is hearing something unexpected and trying to explain it away.

I do the opposite.

I get curious.

Because the unconscious often slips the most important information into the conversation when we're willing to take the client's words seriously.

Not everything needs to be interpreted.

Sometimes it just needs to be followed.

That's one of the core skills we build inside Enter the Loop.

Silence is presence without punctuation. 🌀✨

No period. No question mark. Just trust.

Because the pause isn’t empty — it’s where the client stops performing insight and starts integrating.

And if your nervous system is screaming “say something helpful”… same. 😅
That’s usually our discomfort, not theirs.

Question: When it gets quiet, are you a filler or a holder?
