..FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
county, Bexar.

* WHEN...Until 315 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1215 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
showers. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up
to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Antonio, San Antonio Int Airport, Fair Oaks Ranch, Kirby,
Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Shavano Park,
Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Olmos Park, Timberwood Park,
The Dominion, Leon Springs, Castle Hills, Balcones Heights,
Hill Country Village and Scenic Oaks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Good afternoon!

Here is your forecast for Sept 4th to Sept 8th 2025
Sun and HEAT will be the main concern until Saturday when we see an upper level system move through the area. Currently no severe weather is expected during the weekend. Temperatures will start hot and end on a little cooler note by next week. Rain could be heavier in any thunderstorms that develop. However, flash flooding is not expected at this time. FLOOD WATCH SUNDAY AND MONDAY

A Flood Watch is in effect for most of South Central Texas from Noon Sunday through Noon Monday. Flooding will be a concern by Sunday afternoon though Monday afternoon.
Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches can be expected with isolated totals up to 8 inches possible. These rainfall amounts may lead to flash flooding. The entire area will see the risk of Flooding. Any thunderstorms that develop could have potential rainfall rates or an inch per hour. Stay alert for later updates.

Good Saturday morning

We will see isolated showers and thunderstorms develope through the afternoon. Then become more scattered on Sunday and Monday with some Flash flooding concerns developing Sunday and Monday. Highs will be 95 to 100 with overnight lows 75 to 80.

⚠️ MAJOR FLASH FLOODING ⚠️ 6-12-25 343am
IS ONGOING THIS MORNING ACROSS NORTHERN AND WESTERN SAN ANTONIO AND AREAS NORTH. SOME SPOTS HAVE SEEN NEAR 10 INCHES OF RAIN OVERNIGHT. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS. TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN. HEAVY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 7AM.
