Today we’re celebrating Stacy and four years on staff at Grace!

Many of the things Stacy does happen behind the scenes, but her impact is felt every week at both of our campuses. Here at Schertz, Stacy helps support events, coordinate logistics, manage countless details, and make sure our ministries have what they need to serve people well.

More than that, she serves with excellence, leads with humility, and genuinely cares for people. Whether she’s solving problems, supporting staff, caring for our campuses, or jumping in wherever needed, Stacy brings a servant’s heart to everything she does.

We are truly grateful that she said "yes" four years ago. God has used her in countless ways to strengthen our church, support our ministries, and help create environments where people can encounter Jesus and find community.

Stacy, thank you for the way you faithfully serve both campuses and our entire church family. We’re grateful for you, grateful for your family, and grateful for the impact you continue to make here at Grace.

See you Sunday, Grace!

We’re excited to gather together again this weekend at Rose Garden Elementary. It’s always a joy to worship, connect, and open God’s Word together.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming Pastor Jeff back after his sabbatical. We’re grateful for the time he’s had to rest and recharge, and we’re excited to have him back with us this Sunday.

Join us at 9:00a or 10:30a, and consider inviting a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member to come with you. You never know how God might use a simple invitation.

We don’t gather on Sundays to celebrate how strong our faith is.

We gather to celebrate how good God’s grace is.

Some days our faith feels strong. Other days it feels weak, tired, distracted, or barely hanging on. But the hope of the Gospel has never been built on the strength of our faith. It’s built on the faithfulness of Jesus.

Faith moves us toward God, but grace is what allows God to come near to us even when we feel too weak to move ourselves.

The Gospel was never about strong people earning God’s love. It’s about a gracious Savior meeting weak people right where they are.

Our current Ministry Coordinator, Caroline, is stepping away soon as her family follows a new military assignment, and we're so thankful for everything she's poured into this campus.

We're looking for her replacement: someone who blends administration, communication, volunteer coordination, and Sunday logistics into something that genuinely matters.

Today we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of a long weekend. It is a reminder of sacrifice, courage, and the cost of freedom. We are deeply grateful for those who laid down their lives for others and for the families who continue to carry that loss.

As a church, we also remember the words of Jesus:
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13

Today, may we live with gratitude, pray for those who grieve, and never forget the sacrifice that was made.

We’re excited to gather together again this weekend at Grace Bible Church Schertz Campus (Rose Garden Elementary). Whether you’ve been here for years or you’re thinking about visiting for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.

One quick note for families: because of the holiday weekend, Grace Kids will only be available for children ages 4 and under this Sunday.

Happy Birthday, Caroline!

Today we’re celebrating someone who plays such an important role in the life of Grace and our Schertz campus. Caroline serves as our Campus Ministry Assistant, and it’s hard to fully put into words just how valuable she has been to the growth, health, and day-to-day life of the campus.

She is hardworking, dependable, thoughtful, and the kind of self-starter every team hopes for. Whether it’s helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, serving others with joy, or stepping in wherever needed, Caroline leads with humility, excellence, and a genuine servant’s heart.

Beyond all she does at Grace, she’s also a wonderful wife, mom, and person who reflects Christ so well in the way she cares for people.

We are incredibly grateful for you, Caroline, and thankful God brought you to Grace.

This month, Adam Duvall will be talking about wrath and anger. Not just the outward reactions, but the deeper weight they carry and the freedom Jesus offers through it all.

This message from Chris Lowe this past Sunday reminds us that something will always shape the way we live, speak, and respond. Either God’s Word will lead us, or culture and relationships will.
Biblical authority is more than a doctrine we believe. It’s a life we live as people who have been shaped by the truth of Jesus.
