I SPENT MY LAST SAVINGS TO BUY MY LITTLE STUDENT A GUITAR, AND HIS BROTHER WENT AND SMASHED IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF US
I've lived a long honest life, but at 75, I'm completely alone. The only legacy I have left is a guitar, the last item from my music shop that I dedicated my life to. I dreamed of finding someone to pass on my legacy to before I leave this world.
So, I made friends with the neighbor kid, Tommy. He dreamed of playing like I did but couldn't afford his own instrument—his parents had died, and he has only an older brother. I started teaching him, and then... I gave him my last savings so he could buy a guitar. He had a light, a talent.
And then he disappeared. I found out his brother, Jason, had forbidden him from playing music. Not understanding why he was so harsh with little Tommy, I offered to help and went to talk to him.
But just five minutes into our heated conversation, Jason smashed the guitar. He shattered Tommy's only joy and left him sobbing over the broken instrument.
That's when I realized: there was one thing I had to do.👇

I was out to dinner with my wife at a cafe. We were sitting there, holding hands when I leaned over to kiss Mara, and a strange woman suddenly walked up to us.
Woman, screaming, "So you had to work tonight?! You had an emergency surgery? You CHEAT! We are over!" She threw her glass of wine in my face! I was soaked and furious.
Me: I'm sorry, honey, I don't know her!
Mara: What's going on?
Woman: Are you his girlfriend?!
Mara: I'm his wife!
Woman: He's MARRIED? I swear this is the last time I date a doctor! Damn you, Ralf Gois!
Me: But my name is Phillip Granger!

JOKE OF THE DAY: A guy suspects his wife is cheating on him, so he comes home early from work one day. His wife meets him at the door in a bathrobe, her hair a mess. "Where is he?" he demands. "Where's the guy who's been sleeping with you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about, dear," she answers. So the guy tears the house apart, looking for him. Finally, he's on the second floor in the kitchen, and he looks out the window and sees a guy sitting in a Volkswagen.
"That's him," the guy thinks. "That's the guy who's been sleeping with my wife!" Furious, he picks up the refrigerator, throws it out the window, has a heart attack, and dies.
St. Peter meets him at the gates of Heaven. "Why are you here?" he asks, and the guy answers, "I knew my wife was cheating on me, so I came home early. I saw her boyfriend sitting in his Volkswagen out on the street, threw the refrigerator at him, had a heart attack, and died." St. Peter scowls and says, "You don't belong here. Go to hell." He pulls a big lever, a trapdoor opens, and the guy disappears.
A couple of minutes later, another guy comes up to St. Peter at the gates of Heaven. "What are you doing here?" St. Peter asks, and the guy answers, "I don't know! I was just sitting in my Volkswagen, minding my own business, when somebody threw a refrigerator at me!" St. Peter wags his finger at him and says, "I heard about you. You go to hell too!" I'm a school janitor, just getting by—barely holding onto my house after my daughter died. Mortgage hanging over my head, aches and pains, but it's life, right? One day, I walk into the school gym and see the basketball court splattered with paint. My heart sank. I thought, "Really? On top of everything?"
Then this kid, Holden, comes up to me, shuffling his feet:
He: "Frank... it was me. I messed up with the paint..."

I LEFT MY NEWBORN WITH MY HUSBAND FOR A WORK TRIP, AND HE BEGAN ACTING WEIRD WHEN I RETURNED – HIS REASON SHOCKED ME.
I'm a neurologist and totally love my job. I've been married to my husband for four years now. He's in marketing, but I make three times what he does. From day one, I told him I wasn't sure about having biological kids and always dreamed of adopting. He seemed cool with it until his best friend had a baby boy last year. Then he started pushing for kids, but I wanted to wait a few more years since my career was just taking off.
But, surprise, I got pregnant last August. After a lot of talks, we decided to keep the baby, and he agreed to quit his job and stay home with our daughter until she started preschool. It made sense because I earned more, I was just starting my career, and I couldn't stand the idea of being a housewife. Plus, I don't trust daycare until she's old enough to talk.

My MIL, Linda, had been sick for days. On Wednesday evening, my husband Matt and I were set to finalize a huge milestone: buying the house we'd rented for five years. But Matt pulled me aside, looking worried.
"Mom's not doing well," he said. "She hasn't eaten all day. You should bring her dinner."
I hesitated. "We have that meeting with the real estate agent soon," I reminded him. "Can't we send takeout?"
He frowned. "Takeout? She needs homemade comfort food. You know she loves your lasagna."
Torn between our plans and wanting to help his mom, I caved. Maybe this would mend things between Linda and me — she's never really seen me as a part of the family.

My parents are real tyrants. I know that sounds awful, but it's true. They're perfect — rich, smart, never making mistakes. And they always demanded the same from me. Disobedience? Not an option. My appearance? Flawless, or fix it ASAP! And God forbid I have my own dreams or don't want to join my dad's business; they'd shut me up with a shout and a fist on the table. "Don't you dare to talk back, Kate!" That's their usual response.
Anyway, that day was even worse. I had to give a big presentation, and I tried telling them again that I didn't want to do it, but they just didn't care. So, I sucked it up and left.
I was walking down the street when I bumped into this homeless guy. He stared at me, and then his eyes filled with tears. Out of nowhere, he jumped up, hugged me, and shouted, "My Rosa, is it really you?! Oh Lord!"
I pulled back and said, "You've got the wrong person. I'm Kate."
He looked at me sadly and said, "Oh, you don't know, do you? They hid it from you?"

MY HUSBAND LIED TO ME THAT HIS BOSS WOULDN'T GIVE HIM PATERNITY LEAVE – I FOUND OUT HIS REAL REASON
So, today, I was talking to my husband about us both taking paternity and maternity leave at the same time. You know, so that he could help me out with the baby and my recovery.
But then he drops this bombshell: he talked to his boss, and his boss wouldn't let him take leave because of some big project. Even worse, he hinted that my husband could get fired if he didn't go to another city for a few months to handle this project! I was super upset, but we really need his job since I won't be able to work for a while. So, I just had to accept it.
A few days later, I bumped into his boss's wife at the grocery store. We kinda knew each other from university, and she was all friendly, asking about the baby. I couldn't help it and snapped, saying something like, "Well, if your husband approved paternity leave and didn't send new dads away for work, things would be better." She looked so confused and said, "Actually, your husband is on paternity leave. I don't know what you're talking about."
I was FLOORED. I rushed home, and he was in the shower, with his phone just there on the table. I don't usually do this, but something told me to check it. I was ready to find anything – another woman, debts, whatever. But it took me two seconds to find his real reason, and I WENT PALE AS I SAW HIS TEXTS WITH ⬇️
