After 33 weddings in just 20 weeks, I am taking a well needed vacation! Hubby and I are cruising in Alaska along with my parents! I will have many pictures to come and will resume with wedding work ASAP!

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there and wonderful father figures who step up on the wedding day!
I love getting to work with the fathers/uncles/grandfathers/godfathers/brothers/sons of a bride who are escorting her down the aisle. Normally they have their game face on and they have expectations in meeting me, a minister. So when I explain to them that legally they don't have to give anyone away and their answer can be more fitting to who they are and who the bride is and their relationship, I get a laugh from them!

Top 3 best "giveaway" lines from Dads to soon to be in-laws:
- (in a booming voice) I, her father, do!
- Yep, take her. She's your problem now!
- Her mother and I do!
