“My friend came over for New Year’s Eve the other day.
I was still at work, but she showed up with flowers for me.💕🥹 they are beautiful.

Her husband asked her, ‘Why are you bringing her flowers? What happened?’

And she said,
‘You don’t go to a goddess’s house without an offering.’

Every woman deserves friends like that !❤️ i will definitely be showing the love moving forward.

Hi, I’m Serah 🤍
Some of you know me through photography, but this space is evolving — just like life does!

This page is now a home for photography ( and booking still ) art, content, creativity, and thrifting — all rooted in culture, nostalgia, and corazón.

I’ll be sharing:
🖤 soulful visuals & storytelling
🎞️ content inspired by memory + mood
🛍️ thrifted pieces I love (and will be selling)
🌿 items that feel worn-in, meaningful, and full of historia

No fast fashion. No rush.
Just curated finds, art, and vibes that honor where we come from and where we’re going.

If you love culture, creativity, softness, and pieces with soul — you’re in the right place.
Gracias for being here and growing with me!!

If you have a gallery pending, I'll be sending it out once I get back

Thanksgiving is a time when everyone talks about being “thankful,” gathering with family, and carving turkeys… but I think it’s important to hold space for the full truth of this day too.

This holiday didn’t begin as a cute story of friendship. Native people were not celebrated — they were massacred, displaced from their land, stripped of their culture, and forced into brutality that still affects generations today.

And while many people don’t want to talk about it, we need to remember the reality:

🌬️ Native families were torn apart.
🇺🇸 Children were taken from their homes and forced into boarding schools where their language, identity, and culture were punished out of them.
🌾 Tribes were pushed off their homelands, starved, and erased in textbooks.
❤️‍🩹 The trauma is still alive today.

So while people sit around the table today feeling “grateful,” just remember:
👉 Thanksgiving is not a happy holiday for everyone.
👉 For many Native communities, it’s a day of mourning, remembrance, and truth-telling.
👉 It’s okay to be thankful — but it’s also important to be aware.

Today I’m choosing to honor the truth, hold space for the harm done to Native people, and refuse to pretend this day is something it’s not.

If you’re celebrating, enjoy your loved ones — but don’t ignore the history.
See the day for what it really is: a reminder to acknowledge the past, honor those who suffered, and do better moving forward

Look up tonight — the universe is ticking. The Moon tells the day, the stars tell the month, and together they turn the gears of a grand cosmic clock that never stops. Every sunrise, every moon phase, every constellation drifting across the sky is part of a rhythm older than humanity itself. We aren’t just living under the stars — we’re moving *with* them, second by second, through an infinite dance of time and light. Next time you look up, remember: you’re inside the universe’s most beautiful masterpiece — a living clock, written in starlight and measured in wonder.

I hope my daughter is beautiful
in the wildest of ways
like tree roots
reaching deep into the earth
fierce, not cute

and growing as deeply
as her branches will rise
reaching to the beckoning skies
and down into the core
always aware, there is more

I hope my daughter is free
like sea foam is free
a product of oceans commanded by moon
finding space where there was no room
and riding life as it is cresting
flying, finding, creating, nesting

I hope my daughter is beautiful
in the way that wind is not dutiful
conducting the garden
to bend and sway
and knowing the only possible way
is to join that dance

and be blown as you blow
it’s how she’ll grow
I hope she will know

that beauty is like fire and ice
it rarely thrives in sweet or nice
but rather in the dusty ground

of which her growing place is found

I hope my daughter’s beauty bound

with all that wildness

swirling round.
