A Slight Risk (2 of 5) of severe weather is in place today, with the greatest threat across the eastern Nebraska Panhandle.

⏱️ Storms should develop by mid-afternoon off the Colorado Front Range and just east of the southern Laramie Range, then grow more widespread over the Panhandle while intensifying.
⚡ Damaging wind gusts and large hail will be the main hazards.
🚗 Quick evolution into clusters or lines could increase the wind threat along the I-80 corridor.
