I’m not going to pretend I’ve got it together right now.

Physically off. Mentally off. Spiritually off. Just… off.

And I don’t think I’m alone in that. The world feels heavy right now.. people drowning in bills that don’t add up, and somehow Christians online sound more excited about war than they do about peace.

Jesus didn’t say “blessed are those who have it figured out.” He said blessed are those who mourn. Blessed are the poor in spirit.
There’s room in the kingdom for tired.

I’m not writing this because I’ve got a clean answer. I’m writing it because pretending I do would be its own kind of dishonesty.. and this whole thing is built on not doing that.

So today I’m just going to sit in “blessed are those who mourn” and trust that comfort is actually coming. Not because I’ve earned it. Because that’s the promise.

When did “I love you” become a get-out-of-jail-free card?

“You’re going to hell… but I love you.”
“You’re deceived and dangerous… but I love you.”
“You’re not a real Christian… but I love you.”

We’ve turned three words into a theological loophole. Say whatever you want. End it right. Walk away clean.

But Jesus didn’t say CLAIM love. He said DO IT.
The whole Sermon on the Mount is built on one uncomfortable idea.. the fruit of the thing is the thing. The words you tag on at the end don’t change what the person in front of you actually experienced.

So let me ask you something honest:

If they walked away feeling ashamed, condemned, or two inches tall… what exactly did you love them with?

Because “but I love you” isn’t a mic drop. It might just be a mirror.

Been in the trenches of the comment sections, defending Jesus people, the outcast.
Everyone seems to try to use the Bible, in all kinds of technical ways, to mitigate or even negate what Jesus taught..

I’ve had a couple weeks of not feeling well, and we’ve been SO busy with graduation, etc.

Been gone two weeks.
Not because I stopped caring.
Because I was busy actually doing it.

Summer Bash. Graduation. End of school.
Physically exhausted. Mentally spent.

Here’s what I’ve learned… Jesus never said blessed are the efficient.
He said blessed are the ones who pour out.
Turns out that costs something.

I’m back. And I’ve got more to say.
Stay curious.
