I also loved being able to bring this vision to life despite a lot of limitations due to allergies and autoimmune sensitivities - it really allowed me to get creative while delivering a luxury look with MINIMAL chemicals.

I go through phases w socials, it's reminiscent of a ~toxic relationship 😂

It's important to be consistent and post even when you don't feel like it....

But it's also important to enjoy your own content, and the process of making it.

I was getting wrapped up in ~virality. The constant scrolling for inspo, the endless engagement to boost my profile, frequent insight checks

Started feeling like leaky energy.

I noticed a disconnect between what I SHOULD be posting - according to the algo, according to the content experts, according to the hair industry

And what I ENJOY posting.

So much of my identity is wrapped up in "doing hair".
I still love that part of me, but there's so much more I want to expand into outside of that.

I needed a lil break from the phone to really sit with myself and lean into what messages the NEXT version of me wants to share from the MF HEART

And straight up, it's not relentless hair photos and tutorials. There's enough of that already

It's been a season of shedding some layers and calling back my creativity...

☀️ A MESSAGE FOR YOU - even if you fall off, all this sh*t on here is still gonna be waiting for you when we get back. So don't beat yourself up if you need a hiatus

What I'm saying is I've rediscovered a part of me that could really help me expand my creative side. And THAT'S the breadcrumb from my higher self

30 spins around the sun 🌞 spent in the most beautiful place with my fav humans

The last 3 decades have taught me A LOT. About life, love, finding peace, relationships, myself. And what a strange age…sometimes I feel like I’ve lived a million lives and other times I still feel like a child.

I’m grateful for all the people I’ve crossed paths with, good or bad because they’ve all taught some kind of lesson.

But extra grateful for my husband, family, and friends. 🤍

I’m thankful for the weekend getaways, cross country road trips, most recently Italy, and everywhere in between. I think travel is essential for inspiration and expansion.

I’m proud of myself, for the woman I’m becoming. She is brave, aware, resilient, loving, and takes s**t from nobody!!!

Life has been so good to me, but I have a feeling this will be the best decade yet 💫

THANK YOU to everyone that took the time to wish me a happy birthday, and to anyone that has made the journey of these last 30 years that much sweeter!!!
