Real and raw. Also, to clarify, when I say I “haven’t been the nicest wife lately,” I really just mean I’ve been a bit more impatient and snippy than my normal extremely fun loving and energetic self 😅🙃 This season has been FULL. Moving, work, the kids, a million things on my brain… I’ve just been tapped out and quite the stressball! We’ve always said the key to marriage is this: marriage is 60/40, and both people should be trying to give the 60%!! And lately, I hate to admit it, but I’ve probably been giving 35% until I’m tapped out while Stephen carries the rest. And the thing is, he’s in an incredibly busy and stressful season too… he doesn’t necessarily have more to give, he’s just choosing to find room and give it anyway 🥹

BUT we are almostttt there!! And a few days in Minnesota with the girls being loved on by their grandparents has been exactly what I needed. I feel lighter, more like myself, and we are having SO much fun together. Just a little reminder that I haven’t just turned into a giant B… I’m literally just tired 😂🤍 And I’m really grateful for a husband who gives a little extra when I don’t have it!!

Somehow have less in my diaper bag as a mom of 2 than I do as a first time mom?! Looks like I’ve finally figured out the necessities 🤝

Also Scottie is a spoiled girlie and loves her bottles piping hot so we always need to carry a portable bottle warmer with us or the girl won’t touch her milk 🤣 My fav warmer is the Grownsy !! Things are crazyyyy over here!! This was filmed Monday so we literally leave for our trip tomorrow and then moving day is Tuesday omg!!! Oh yes also (to answer all your questions), our current house is sold but we did a “buy back” from the new buyer where we are essentially renting it back from them until we move into the new house!! So HERES TO PRETTY MUCH THE LAST NIGHT IN OUR HOME 🥹🎊 (I’m emotional)

A DREAM 🥹😍😭🛝

The first time we saw our new house, I looked at Stephen and said “imagine the girls playing on a swingset in this backyard… what a dream that would be” and LOOK 😭 I am filled with an extreme about of gratitude, I truly can’t even believe it!

I need to give a special shoutout to the owners at All About Play in Mesa because they truly were incredible!! They answered the ten million questions I had as they helped us custom design our swingset, showed up alongside their team on install day, and you could just feel the genuine excitement and love they have for making families happy!! Truly a company I want to screen to the rooftops!!! 👏🏼 Also, the swingsets are amazing quality and have a lifetime warranty!!!

This past month has been one of the best (and stressful lol) months ever and I can’t wait to settle into our new home next week!!!

Motherhood has completely challenged my idea of what “doing it right” looks like! I breastfed both of my babies for 8 months, which was longer than the 6 month goal I had set for myself. I’m incredibly proud of that, but motherhood has also taught me that how you feed your baby isn’t a measure of how good of a mom you are… The judgment on the internet around feeding can be so loud!! But there are moms who breastfeed, moms who formula feed, moms who do both, and moms who desperately wanted to breastfeed but couldn’t. There are also moms who simply decide that a different way of feeding is what’s best for them and their family. AND THAT IS OKAY.

You’re allowed to want your time back. You’re allowed to want your body back. You’re allowed to choose what makes you feel like the best version of yourself while still making sure your baby is happy, healthy, and fed.

That’s why I’m proud to be a Bobbie parent. Bobbie has given me confidence in having another option when it comes to feeding my baby, without feeling like I have to fit into anyone else’s expectations.

Because, believe it or not, feeding is personal. Not perfect. And there isn’t one “right” way to do it 🤍
