Most common reason for this is a lack of mobility in the big toe. โฃ
โฃ
Yep, hips can hurt because of toes. If the big toe doesnโ€™t move well enough the forces come off the four lateral toes instead. This makes the leg roll inward. โฃ
โฃ
An internally rotated extended position of the leg is normal at this stage of the gait cycle but it can cause pain when excessive, as shown, especially if the hip doesnโ€™t move well. โฃ
