Mountain Shadows is a $100-million resort just built in Paradise Valley.
The 183 room hotel will be located on Lincoln Drive near 56th Street. It's name is from the original Mountain Shadows resort, which opened in 1951 in Paradise Valley..( two years before the Town of Paradise Valley was official.)
Now we're getting details at some of the planned amenities, including the signature restaurant, Hearth '61.
It will be led by chef Charles Wiley, formerly of Hotel Valley Ho's ZuZu, and Sanctuary Resort's Elements. Really excited about this new spot in Paradise Valley and has quite a buzz going so it will be a must see.

The largest waterpark music festival, Wet Electric, is coming in its 7th edition at Big Surf Waterpark on Saturday, April 29th. Big Surf officially opens on May 6 and is home to a 2.5 million gallon wavepool, the largest in the country! This party is one that won't let you down! Diplo will headline the festival which will also feature other artists including Audien, Anna Lunoe, Borgore and Yookie. It features waterslides, bars, fun cabanas to rage with your best friends.. and more.

The Seventh Annual Christmas Tree lighting Ceremony is tomorrow November 22nd from 5:30 to 10pm to kick off Christmas at the Princess. Santa and his elves will be making their rounds while musical performances, animated light shows on the resort telling the Night before Christmas and the lighting of the 4 story Christmas tree with over 70,000 LED twinkling lights set to Christmas songs.
Additional fees apply for ice skating sessions, attractions, and photos with Santa.
