No more gatekeeping 👀
Most people have no idea this spot exists at Disney’s Lookout Cay…
but it gave us the BEST photos of the entire cruise 📸✨

Save this for your next Disney Cruise!

✨ Disney Cruise photo dump ✨
And a few things I’m SO glad we knew before sailing 👇

1️⃣ Use a travel agent (Start here)
This is the true first step in planning. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and having a travel agent was invaluable. From booking advice to last-minute questions, it made everything easier. If you need a recommendation, I highly recommend — Ali was incredible from start to finish.

2️⃣ Choose the right itinerary (Castaway Cay + Lookout Cay)
If you can, book a Disney Cruise that visits both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. Castaway Cay is the original and iconic, but we personally loved the newer island, Lookout Cay, even more — although both were amazing. Curious which one you prefer if you’ve been to both!

3️⃣ Fly in at least one day early
With unpredictable weather, this gave us so much peace of mind. We stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, and it was perfect. Watching the Disney Dream dock at Port Everglades right outside our window made embarkation day even more exciting.

4️⃣ Find your cruise’s Facebook group
Once booked, this is such a helpful next step. We joined our sailing’s Facebook group and they even created a WhatsApp chat with families onboard. It was great for asking questions and staying connected at sea. Bonus: iMessage and WhatsApp works without purchasing Wi-Fi.

5️⃣ Bring magnets + a Fish Extender
The guests truly make Disney cruises extra magical. We received little surprises for the kids multiple times a day and loved pixie dusting other families by leaving small toys and candy in their fish extenders. And don’t forget to decorate your door with magnets — stateroom walls and doors are magnetic!

6️⃣ Make the nightly shows a priority
Each evening features a Broadway-style show, and the talent is incredible. We were completely blown away — Beauty and the Beast was our favorite and absolutely phenomenal. Do not skip the shows!

If you’ve been on a Disney Cruise, what would you add to this list? And if you’re planning a Disney Cruise, save this post — and ask me any questions in the comments! 🚢🐭

There is above-and-beyond… and then there’s THIS. 💕

Shouting out Ali— owner of , who literally stayed up until midnight on our check-in day to snag us a Royal Gathering time so our daughter could meet all the Disney princesses at once on our cruise. 👑✨

If you’re not familiar, Royal Gathering is a complimentary but VERY limited princess meet-and-greet onboard Disney Cruise Line. Time slots open at midnight before your cruise and they book up fast — like minutes fast. Having a knowledgeable travel agent who knows exactly when and how to grab it makes all the difference.

Did you know that using a travel agent doesn’t cost you more… and if you find a great one like Ali, they can get you experiences you might miss entirely.

👉 Give Ali a follow
👉 Fill out the inquiry form at the top of her page if you’re thinking about any family vacations in the next year or two — cruises, Disney, or beyond.

This is the kind of care you want behind your travel plans. 💙✈️
