The return of Mr. Peanut and the Planters NUTmobile celebrated the city where the Planters story began in 1906. Surrounded by historic landmarks, local artwork, classic automobiles, community leaders, and generations of fans, the day honored Wilkes-Barre’s lasting contribution to American culture.
The world knows Mr. Peanut—but Wilkes-Barre will always be home.
