Last night was pure magic. 🌈✨
The bar was already buzzing before we officially kicked things off, and by the end of the night, it was packed wall-to-wall with q***r folks and allies showing up loud and proud. We didn’t just double our fundraising from last year — we nearly quadrupled it. Every dollar is going back into our local q***r arts scene through the Scranton Fringe Fest, and every bit of it was raised in the spirit of joy, community, and resistance.
Our performers? Paid. The bar? Thriving. The vibes? Immaculate. Tequila and Memphis Divine gave us drag performances that snatched wigs and healed souls all in one set.
More than one person told us they had left this area thinking they’d never be accepted here — and that this night made them feel seen. Like they belonged. Like maybe there’s still something here worth returning to.
Maggie and I dreamed up something that felt big, bold, and q***r as hell — and last night, that dream showed up and showed out. I’m so damn proud of what we created. This is what happens when we make space for each other. 💖
