AI. Yup. I am sitting here enjoying my coffee and figured. It’s time to talk about it in regards to the Haunt Industry. No. I am not “against AI”. It’s very useful for business aspects. And really. Has this stigma about the waste of resources. But what everyone is missing is. Data is Data. There is no good data and bad data. Haha. It’s all just Data. So there’s not a ton of difference between making a funny picture and posting 3 times on Facebook. It’s all the same data.

Where I see it being a problem. It creates the same image over and over. Which is fine for “Peggy’s Craft Fair”. But. Haunts have images. They have themes. They have a brand.

AI cannot take your brand into account. Over the last 11 years of covering the Haunt Industry. We could tell who’s Haunt was who’s by the ads. Every brand had a different feel.

Now. I completely understand this saves time. BUT. This is where AI will not help. If I, who has spent more time looking at Haunt Ads 30x more then the average human has no idea what haunt it is or where it is because of the AI ad, then your just shooting your self in the foot.

I have used it to make us funny characters on thumbnails but the thumbnails were still to our brand. I have tested AI thumbs. They look like every single other image ai makes for haunt ads and or flyers it creates.

Just keep your brand alive. You spent blood sweat and tears on that brand.
