EMERGENCY CALL… this evening at 6pm… just finished at 11pm…chimney was completely imploded inside and also had an old nest plugging chimney up top…. If you look at top of water heater the plastic O rings were smoked,, one actually caught on fire… that’s from the roll back when water heater came on and filled basement with carbon monoxide… had someone not came to look at boiler and advised homeowners to shut the gas off to both boiler and water heater this very well could have had deadly results.. it’s cold out and that boiler could have kicked on and filled house and possibly poisoned the entire family…. We removed nest and all the broken terra cotta… installed a 316ti stainless steel chimney liner kit and re pitched the water heater that was on a crazy down pitch and chimneys good to go for winter…. heat and water heater back up and running….. 316ti stainless steel chimney liner kit for small gas boiler that was bleeding condensation thru cinder block below roof line… removed oversized thimble and put a stainless steel cap on other flue not in use….. on way to an emergency blockage…. They are starting way too soon … it’s still August……🙈

316ti Stainless Steel chimney liner today for 2 tiny 60k gas boilers and 2 water heaters… it was a tight spot considering the placement of each unit but Justin was able to get everything into the liner.. chimney was previously parged .. not the best looking but definitely had the chimney solid…. And no reason to add any extra expense to homeowners.. so we just locked it up with Acrylic sealer and made the chimney safe with the liner……

Another emergency call for a completely blocked gas boiler chimney… look at boiler front,, see all that black carbon ,, that’s because when boiler was running all winter carbon monoxide was rolling backwards out of draft box back into house.. chimney had large sections of broken Terra cotta wedged in chimney halfway up and the base of chimney was 90 percent plugged… blockage removed,,316ti stainless steel chimney liner installed and then we removed a few top rows of loose brick and put on a concrete collar and cement parged the chimney to keep it locked up .. then the sky’s opened up like a waterfall and thankfully the parging was dry(I hope) we will go back tomorrow and see if it needs to be touched up… our concern was the blockage and the liner installed,,, the outside work we just threw in for cosmetic purposes…

Late night last night…Justin ,,Anthony and Johnny didn’t get finished till Midnight on an Emergency call for a blockage… they almost made it home early……..Newco Plumbing and Heating discovered blocked Chimney and had to shut down the gas for water heater and boiler ,,,, chimney was Terra cotta from roof up but narrow original brick from attic down.. chimney had a few protruding brick and chimney had to be opened up in living room to get liner thru… ….…. Finally able to install ovalized liner and make all connections and homeowner is good to go…. A-little early in the year for an Emergency like this but thank god Newco discovered it before they started running their heat….. this is an October thru February every day occurrence,,,we were glad to do it without the Snow and 20 degree temps…..

Take bad chimney destroyed by tiny oil boiler down into roof and rebuild with concrete block concrete collar 316ti Stainless steel ovalized chimney liner kit..( chimney went narrow below roofline) skim coat new block and flash seal base of chimney at roofline……. Good to go for winter……. Guys are actually on way to an emergency blockage discovered this afternoon by plumber servicing boiler…. It’s getting into crazy season… and we still have a big list of repairs to do….. after Labor Day it’s Pandemonium till March…. Oh well… GOODNIGHT…
