In Development: The Light That Stayed

It’s been months since Michael’s wife passed.
Months of avoiding the cemetery… afraid of what he might feel if he went.

When he finally returns, he expects silence. Instead, he meets Alden, the quiet groundskeeper who knows the stories of the dead, and perhaps more about Michael than he should.

Reluctantly drawn into Alden’s strange walk through the graves, Michael begins to hear stories of love, loss, and the bonds that time cannot sever.

Some stories feel eerily close to his own. Close enough to wonder if the people we love ever truly leave us.

The Light That Stayed is a short film about grief, connection, and the unseen ways love refuses to leave us.

I'm thrilled to announce that my short film Fallout has been selected for screening at The Women's Film Festival! This festival is dedicated to showcasing and promoting films directed, produced, and written by women, providing a platform for voices that are often underrepresented in the industry.

Being part of this festival is a significant milestone, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share Fallout with such a supportive and empowering community.

I'm excited to announce that my short film "Fallout" is hitting the big screen at the Northeast Pennsylvania Film Festival! Get ready for heart-pounding suspense on Sunday, April 6th in the Thriller Block at 5:30 PM.

I am honored that the film is also nominated for:
🎬 Best Regional Short
🎬 Best Female Lead for Natasha Bogutzki

The film is about a group of close friends sheltering in place from an impending nuclear attack. As the world seemingly falls apart outside with one of their friends in the thick of it, the truth comes out in the end with the damage already done.
