https://www.adsradio.org/health Celebrating our cultural heritage in Seattle!

Today, Amigos de Seattle shared the beauty of Guatemala’s traditional attire and the music of our marimba at the Hispanic Heritage celebration.

We were honored by the presence of the consuls of El Salvador and Mexico, a senator, and other distinguished guests.

A special thank-you to Rosa García from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods for the invitation and for creating opportunities to share our culture.

Thank you also to Professor Lupita G. Casey, Silvia Blanco, and Abner Hernández for joining us and being part of this celebration.

Every textile tells a story, and every note of the marimba keeps our roots alive. ❤️🇬🇹
