New Work - Tom Haines films members of the Spanish Ski team as they prepare for the upcoming Winter Olympics. The film moves between moments of intense training, injury rehabilitation, and quiet focus, as the athletes push themselves to the limit. The trailer is taken from the 20-minute documentary Valentía Bajo Cero. The full film focuses on the support systems surrounding the athletes — from family and teammates to specialist physiotherapy — and the often solitary reality of life as an elite skier. Rapper Tre Mission provides an incredible spoken word backdrop to the action.
