Cenote Suytun in Valladolid feels like stepping inside a fantasy film, the stone platform, the cave ceiling, and that perfect beam of light hitting the water… unreal.

📍 Where is it?
Cenote Suytun is just 8–10 mins from Valladolid, Yucatán.
About 1 hr 15 mins from Chichén Itzá and 2 hrs from Cancún/Tulum.
🚗 How to Get There
We rented a car and drove — super easy!
Other options:
• Taxi from Valladolid (~$10–15 USD)
• Colectivo (budget option)
• Guided tours that include multiple cenotes
💵 Entry Fee
250 MXN per person (~$14 USD).
This ticket gives access to two cenotes on the property (Suytun + Kaapeh).
🕒 Best Time to Visit
Open 9 AM – 5 PM daily.
For the famous light beam, go between 12 PM – 2 PM (depends on clouds!).
📸 Tips for the Perfect Shot
• Come early or late to avoid crowds
• The platform can be slippery, walk slowly
• At peak hours, staff may limit time on the platform
• Midday gives the strongest light beam

Swimming is allowed and life jackets are required, provided at entry.
