I had so much fun making this album with Jess Alldredge :) He's super good at music and has been deeply encouraging throughout the whole process. So thankful we got to collaborate!

Check out our album, May We Hear You in Our Hearts and Rise, if you haven't already!

Rock of Ages is out today on all streaming platforms. Find it under the artist name Fragile Son. My version of this hymn features lots of banjo (of course 🪕) and a 5/4 time signature (which might mean nothing to you but was fun as hell for me to play with). Enjoy!

FOLK is out June 6th, featuring my takes on seven different hundred-year-old (or more) folk songs. I sourced each song from Carl Sandburg’s The American Songbag, a book originally published in 1927 to chronicle folk songs from all across the United States. I had a lot of fun picking out these songs and making them my own. Hope you check it out!

You can listen to Ezekiel Weeps now on all major streaming services, and you can hear the full album next week on June 6th. Links in bio!

One last reminder to check out "Larry & Sons!" This newest episode of my podcast (Folk's Tales) is a re-telling of the crazy stories my dad & uncles would share from their time growing up, and it's paired with my best musical score yet. Find all the links in my bio!

I've gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback so far — thanks to everyone who's already listened. ♥️

The episode I've poured my heart & soul into over the past year is finally out today. Also I got a Christmas tree this weekend. So all in all things are going well 🥳

Listen to "Larry & Sons" whenever you get podcasts. Links in bio.

Larry & Sons release is 2 weeks out - November 25th. Some of my supporters on Patreon have already listed with early access, and agree it's the best episode yet. Which makes me happy :)

This is my dad.🙂 Growing up, the highlight of Sahr family gatherings were always the stories my dad and his two brothers told about their childhood. Hearing these stories as a kid was like opening a fairy tale and stepping into another world. It was magical. “Larry & Sons,” the next episode of Folk’s Tales, brings these stories to life with a lovingly crafted musical score and interviews with both my uncles and my dad. It’s a project with deeply personal connections and universally relatable themes. After all, we all come from a family.

“Larry & Sons” releases Monday, November 25th.

New Folk's Tales coming November 25th 😲👀

Larry & Sons will be my longest, most in-depth episode thus far. It took a year to make and you'll be able to tell. More details soon.
