153 years ago today in , Virginia, little Maud Lloyd lost her life. She was only three-years old and the only child of four left in the Lloyd home.

Was her death at the hands of her mother, a stomach ailment, or an accident? Find out for yourself in my bestselling novel, VEIL OF DOUBT.

Feeling the love here in Baja with a feature story in our local magazine!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Murder, love, deceit... It sounds like a soap opera. However, these things are all based on a true story out of Reconstruction-era Baltimore. Living in a world where noone believes you is enough to make anyone go crazy, but having to deal with this, within your own family, because the person you thought you could trust is also in the family., that's truly terrifying.

This incredible story of Jane Gray Wharton and the unbelievable things that she dealt with in her life are laid out here, keep in mind this is just a novel that's been tweaked. Some changes here and there. Not everything is factual. It is however factual enough to make you think of what it must've been like in that day and age."

Martin Luther King, III has teamed up with his wife and fellow activist, Arndrea Waters King, and legacy architects Marc Kielburger and Craig Kielburger to find a new way forward. Drawing on breakthroughs in neuroscience, psychology, epigenetics and their own
lived experiences, they have created a groundbreaking new framework called Living Legacy. It’s based on the simple but profound recognition that our small, day-to-day actions create legacies that have the power to transform, uplift and unite us all. It’s time to reevaluate, recognize, and reclaim those legacies. Living Legacy invites us to live our best lives and lives larger than ourselves—and in doing so, discover the most sought-after yet elusive state of being: fulfillment.

In conjunction with the Realize the Dream campaign, What Is My Legacy? (published today by Flashpoint Books) kicks off an essential conversation on how to best refocus our individual stories to achieve collective change. Featuring never-been-told stories from
the King family and contributions from celebrities and thought leaders—including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Jay Shetty, Julia Roberts, Yara Shahidi, Rev. Al Sharpton and Sanjay Gupta—it’s an extraordinary road map for finding genuine connection, bringing
us closer to Dr. King’s dream of a Beloved Community.

As 2024 comes to a close, it's a good time to reflect on the past year.

For me, 2024 was super busy with the flurry of activity surrounding VEIL OF DOUBT and the launch of The GRAYS OF TRUTH. Although a bit stressful at times, I wouldn't change a thing! I have traveled the country and have met so many of you. From book signings and talks to TV interviews and panel discussions at conferences and shows, it's been a whirlwind of fun.

How about you? What has your 2024 been like? Take a moment to reflect on this past year (and write your thoughts in your journal).

And get ready for 2025! I know it is going to be a great year!
