Some of the label's best known artists were 764-Hero, Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, Quasi and Tad. The label is owned and managed by his companion, Pete Ritchey. The last update to the Up Records website was in 2007. The Up Records back catalog is distributed by Sub Pop Records, Seattle, WA.

Land of the Loops is the musical project of Alan Sutherland, known for his innovative blend of lo-fi, electronic beats, and eclectic samples. Emerging in the mid-90s via Up Records, Land of the Loops quickly gained a cult following with their albums Bundle of Joy (1996) and Puttering About a Small Land (2000). MORE MORSELS digs through Land of the Loops' catalog and collects some the project's most sumptuous forgotten tracks, now available on your streaming service of choice.
