Woohoo! This is something I've been steadily working on for a while and finally got around to being ready to post.

I've been trying to figure out various ways to store your precious, polished masters! The problem I wanted to address is putting them in a bag or bin where they can click together and maybe scratch or mar the surface, making you repolish them before molding. Maybe not too big of a problem, but here we are 😅 They also are kind of a fun display piece and we all want to look at our beautiful shiny dice, no?

This is the resulting idea! Custom, colorful (or not, for our minimalist, goth hearts) dice stands made of poured resin! They come with a clear, acrylic cover as pictured to keep dust bunnies out and a base with matched recesses for 'standard' sized masters. Of course they also double as dice stands for your precious dice that need to always be on display.

If there is enough interest, I can start producing more of these for sale here and in my shop, let me know what you think in the comments! I'm also open to making custom displays for alternative geometry sets, different configurations, bigger sets, etc.

Let the games begin! I finally received the last of my resin orders over the weekend! I've got some travel in my future so I won't be able to dive into testing these right away, but it will give me time to make a plan and prepare myself.

Tentatively, I plan to review all of these for price including shipping versus volume of product, ease of working, cure time to remove from the pressure pot, cure time to garden fully, polishability, colors both opaque and transparent, and finally uv. I know uv will take me longer but I have an intense uv light and will be leaving finished sets under the light for probably two or three weeks to see how they change.

I'll be working up a little spreadsheet to track all of the info and a doc at the end to summarize my findings. I may also create a standard way to test everything and document it so others can add to the files if they choose to test other resins. I'm'm happy to share the link with anyone as I progress, so just let me know down in the comments 👇 if you would like the link. Or if you have other suggestions for tests I should conduct... 🤔 Anyone have a hydraulic press for fun? 🤣

I know this isn't an exhaustive list of all resins out there but I tried to grab sample sizes of all the most commonly recommended ones and I can add more later if I feel the need.

Ahhhhh new dice! It's been irregularly cold here up until about a week ago and I was unable to pour anything during the holidays, so I spent most of my time working on all kinds of non-dice dice things. I've got a couple secrets that are on the horizon and I can't wait to share them, but in the mean time I finally got to pour some fun things.

These are straight from the pot this morning and will get dropped into my polishing queue next week. Hopefully sometime in my life I'll have zero dice in my polishing queue, but probably not....

One little sneak peak in this photo is of some keycaps I am starting to play with! I got some keycaps molds for dumping excess resin and I didn't even notice when I bought them but a couple have itty bitty paw prints on them 🥺

More fun things coming soon!

This was a gift set I made for my in-laws. They love to play Yahtzee and a dice game called 5000, so I made them so giant pipped d6. Each of these is an inch on each side and the pips are over an eighth of an inch across. That made for some inking challenges and I think I will touch these up a bit next time I see them, but for now they are extra easy to see and you need two hands to roll them all 🤣

It snowed last night too but we are headed home today, so I snapped some early morning pics in the rising sun. It really illustrates the differences lighting can make. One of these days I'll figure it out 📸

A couple of orders for pressure pot racks are going out! The first set I made for the lovely and I swear they aren't sugar cookies, but I may still take a bite. 🤤

The second set are for my buddy AJ and he picked some great color combos to make some mesmerizing swirls and lose yourself in.

The last group is my personal set and I just got a simple plate rack for storing them. Gotta love organizing the workspace. 🤩

I absolutely love making these for people, so let me know if you'd like one! You can order from me directly here or via my Etsy (link in bio) and they are made to order with your color requests.

New product alert! I've been working on these new silicone pads and a super simple rack concept for my pressure pot and I am happy to offer them for sale to anyone who wants them.

I got tired of working with my fixed, multi-tier rack, so I wanted a simple, individual solution that was scalable. If your molds are thin, you can stack multiple racks on their handles. If your molds are a bit thicker and even thickness, you can stack the racks on your molds and the layers help press the lids down. You can even put a weight on the top rack to help spread out the weight and get an even distribution across your molds. The final option, if your molds are uneven or you use different styles of molds on one layer, you can use three wood blocks to support the next rack. I am happy to cut simple wooden blocks for any order that requests them and if there is enough demand, I will source a more premium stock. For now, I just use hardware store lumber because it is easily accessible.

With the way these are set up, it is easy to swap silicone pads, so once it wears out or you want to change up colors, it's easy to swap to a fresh pad and I will be offering them separately from the rest of the hardware.

I can pour custom colors for any client requests and, for an additional fee, I can customize the handles as well.

They come in standard sizes to fit both harbor freight pressure pots and California Air Tools pressure pots. If you need something specific or a different size, let me know and we can figure something out.

Finally, don't forget that I am running a sale all week long for 20% off all orders and giving away some freebies with your order!

In order to make it easier for people to figure out what I offer, I worked with (who is uh-mazing as well) to create some basic menus for my products. So here is a base-line menu for my masters! I've included some of the basic shapes I have already created and prices for some of the various services I offer. I also take custom requests for unique shapes and other, non-dice, 3D printer services. Feel free to reach out to me in my DMs if you have any questions!
