Before you can understand what happened at Summer Smash you need to understand what’s been happening inside No Limit for years. This is the story nobody’s telling fully. 👇🏿

NLMB, the No Limit Muskegon Boys, is G Herbo’s crew from Terror Town on Chicago’s East Side. They’re one of the most historically significant crews in Chicago drill history. But internally the gang has been fracturing for a while. OG Kyro publicly said G Herbo “didn’t look out for none of the guys” as his career blew up. That created real tension between the guys who made it out and the ones left behind.

Then veteran JDog came home from almost a decade in prison and word spread he had issues with how the younger generation had been running things. There was talk of banning G Herbo from the block entirely. Herbo came back and filmed a music video anyway. An altercation in an alley followed. JDog was killed. That death cracked No Limit in half | old school versus new generation Drench Gang, and those two sides have been at war with each other ever since.

What you saw at Summer Smash wasn’t a random fight. It was a No Limit civil war played out at a music festival in front of thousands of people and a police detail that couldn’t stop it.

You think the No Limit gang started with G Herbo? 🙅🏿‍♂️ The real origin story goes back to 1959 and it’s one of the most insane stories in American gang history. 👇🏿

No Limit descends from the Black P Stone Nation which itself descended from the Blackstone Rangers, a street gang formed in 1959 in Chicago’s South Side. The man behind it all was Jeff Fort, a visionary who at his peak had unified 8,000 gang members under one umbrella, was invited to President Nixon’s inauguration, and was praised by politicians for his role in keeping Chicago calm after the Martin Luther King assassination.

Then it all unraveled. Jeff Fort was convicted of misusing a million-dollar federal grant. He converted to Islam in prison, came home, rebuilt his organization under a religious front, ran a $15,000-a-day open air drug operation, got convicted of narcotics trafficking, and then from behind bars allegedly brokered a $2.5 million deal with Libyan agents connected to Muammar Gaddafi to commit acts of terrorism on U.S. soil in exchange for weapons. He’s been in ADX Florence Supermax ever since, one of the most secure prisons in America, and his family still fights for his release today.

No Limit on the East Side is a fractured renegade descendant of that empire. Teenagers repping Peace with no idea of the political and religious movement their gang once represented. That’s the history behind the drill music coming out of Terror Town.

Let’s set the record straight on Tay Keith and Sexyy Red and then ask the questions nobody is answering yet. 👇🏿

The lawsuit was real. March 2026, Tay Keith filed suit claiming he produced 13 songs for Sexyy Red in 2024 including “Pound Town” and never got paid. TMZ confirmed the court documents. But his own rep clarified it was a label dispute not personal beef between him and Sexyy. Rebel Music’s attorney confirmed they were in the final stages of compensating him when he died. They say full payment will now go to his estate.

Which brings us to the questions the internet is not asking but should be.

Will his estate actually get paid? The lawsuit is still technically pending. Rebel Music says they are “expediting” payment to the estate. But there is no court order. There is no finalized agreement. Just a promise from the label whose artist he was suing.

What happened to him? Tay Keith was found unresponsive in his Nashville apartment during a welfare check. Nashville police confirmed no foul play is suspected. His cause of death is listed as unclassified pending autopsy results. A 29 year old man. Found alone in his apartment. No cause of death. No answers yet.

And what happens to Sexyy Red’s career? Tay Keith was not just a producer for her. He made her. “Pound Town.” “SkeeYee.” “Get It Sexyy.” “Pound Town 2.” He executive produced her Billboard 200 charting project “In Sexyy We Trust.” That sound, the one that made her a mainstream name, lived in him. No one replaces that.

This death leaves more questions than answers and the culture deserves real ones.

Big Worm from Friday rolled into a Florida courtroom yesterday in a red prison jumpsuit, shackled at the wrists, in a wheelchair and the story behind it is something else. 👇🏿

Faizon Love was arrested June 16 on two counts of contempt of court tied to a $250,000 child support debt. He was picked up in Riverside County, California and transported cross-country to Hillsborough County, Florida on orders from Judge Mark Kiser. His ex Tiffany Lee says he owes $2,500 a month and hasn’t paid in years. She told the court he looked her in the face and said she “wasn’t going to get a dime” and that he planned to stop working and cancel shows just to avoid paying.

Then his own attorney got up and painted a picture nobody expected. Homeless. Relying on friends to survive. Driving a 1999 vehicle. Zero dollars in his savings account. $0 in reported income for all of 2025. Only $13,000 in gross income over the last five years combined. When the judge asked him directly if he could pay $2,500 a month right now, Faizon said one word: “No.”

His attorney argued that keeping him locked up was making everything worse, “This sentence is preventing him from working and ruining his name in Hollywood. If he’s in jail, he can’t work.” The judge agreed, released him, and gave him until July 1 to submit a full financial statement.

And this isn’t even his only case. Last August Faizon was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon for throwing a credit card machine at a hotel clerk and injuring the victim.

This is a real conversation about what happens to entertainers when the checks stop coming and the industry moves on. The man was in Friday, Elf, Made, and Be Cool. Now his attorneys are telling a judge he has nothing.

Drake was the reason Tay Keith exists at the level he did. In 2018 Tay Keith sent Drake a pack of beats. Drake picked “Look Alive,” recorded on it, and then instead of keeping it he gave the record to a teenage BlocBoy JB from Memphis as a cosign. That one decision changed Tay Keith’s entire life. “Look Alive” went Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and introduced Tay Keith’s sound to the world.

Tay Keith said it himself publicly: “Drake brought Memphis together. It was a blessing.” He called Drake “the G.O.A.T” and said the experience “taught me everything about the business.”

Drake and Tay Keith didn’t stop there. “Nonstop” on Scorpion. The beat switch on “Sicko Mode” with Travis Scott. “Jimmy Cooks.” “Rich Flex” on Her Loss. “Never Recover” with Lil Baby and Gunna. These two built records together for almost a decade.

29 years old. Gone way too soon.
