SEASON FINALE

a little later than usual, it’s now time for my annual social media hiatus. what a year 2025 has been.

i did a lot this year: at work, in life; inside and out. i managed a lot of AV at work and produced a few audiobooks at home too. plus the work team swapped out some new faces. the Eagles won the dang Super Bowl. i took my first vacation in 3 years when Pilar went to work in Santa Fe. then Pilar & i had to say goodbye to Pizzaman. Gibraltar played its first show in 6 years and finally released the LP. the new puppy Guillermo was welcomed into the picture.

so now it’s time to deploy the chute. have a safe and happy holiday season as best you can however you choose to celebrate. i’ll be back in 2026!

everyone’s favorite piece is comfortable under a tree where the sunlight still creeps through the branches, and he can forever hear the birds and windchimes. the next phase of his journey begins now and we’ll all see him when he wakes up 🖤😭

good morning 🖤✌🏻 it’s that time of year again when a fresh haircut inspires me to take a new selfie headshot and reintroduce myself on the internet

so with that: i’m Nick—your neighborhood lucky butcher. specializing in audio visual production when not working my full time job at the Washington Athletic Club. this is year 5 of Lucky Butcher Productions after i spent my 20s & early 30s freelancing in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Seattle
