Relatives, we made it to 75 episodes. 🥹❤️

For this milestone episode, we’re looking back at the voices, relationships, laughter, hard conversations, unexpected turns, and many hands that have shaped All My Relations from the very beginning.

This isn’t exactly a highlight retrospective. It’s a reflection on what it means to make something in relationship, and to let that relationship change you along the way.

There has been joy. Grief. Friendship. Transition. Mistakes. Growth. A LOT of laughter. And so much love.

75 episodes later, we’re still asking the questions that started it all:

What does it mean to be a good relative? What becomes possible when Indigenous people get to tell our own stories, in our own voices? And where do we go from here?

To everyone who has listened, shared an episode, laughed with us, challenged us, learned with us, or been part of this journey: thank you for being one of our relations.

🎥 COME CREATE WITH US — WE’RE HIRING!

All My Relations is looking for a Digital Media Specialist to join our team in person in Seattle.

We’re looking for someone who loves storytelling, understands digital media, and is excited to help bring Indigenous conversations to audiences across platforms.

You’ll work alongside our production and editing team to:

🎙️ Assist with podcast recordings, including cameras, lighting, and audio
🎬 Help edit and shape full podcast episodes
📱 Create engaging vertical video for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
💬 Help manage All My Relations across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Patreon
✍🏽 Write newsletters and support website updates
📸 Capture and share live events and podcast recordings
✨ Experiment, collaborate, and help us find new ways to tell these stories
This is an in-person position in Seattle and will include some evening and weekend work for special events and live recordings.

We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical skills, creative instincts, and a collaborative spirit—someone who enjoys making beautiful, thoughtful work as part of a team.

Sometimes healing means letting go of the idea that everything has to go your way.

As fathers, husbands, partners, and men, we can carry expectations about how our families and relationships should look. But when things don’t go according to plan, what happens?

Dallas and Thosh talk about learning to be more malleable and flexible. It’s important to recognize that control has no place in healthy relationships.

Healing isn’t about making everyone fall in line. It’s about learning how to move with your relations, listen, adapt, and let go.

What happens when someone violates the terms of community?

Who decides when they’ve taken accountability? When they’re ready to return? And what does restorative justice actually look like when harm has been done?

In this conversation, we get messy.

We talk about banishment, accountability, and the complicated work of rebuilding systems of Indigenous governance in a way that serves our communities today.

Because the truth is: we don’t have a perfect blueprint for how our ancestors governed. And pretending we do can sometimes become another way of limiting our ability to grow.

What if acknowledging what we don’t know gives us more room to imagine what comes next?

It’s not enough to talk about Western patriarchy. We also have to look inward: How do we treat each other? What values guide our relationships? What standards do we hold ourselves and other men to?
