I share the story of losing my twin daughter, Zoe, at three months old and how, on one of the worst days of my life, my dad somehow found a way to make me laugh. It sounds impossible until you’ve loved someone who knows exactly what you need, even when the world is falling apart.

What a night. Truly. Seeing The Work of Loving come to life surrounded by so much love was something I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who showed up for us, poured into us, and made this night feel so special. 🤍

Episode Two 💚

This conversation is really about learning how to stand on your own two feet.

I was raised with a lot of “don’t do it” messaging, and while I understand where it came from, I’m choosing to parent a little differently. I want my daughter to understand the why, not just fear the consequence.

We talk about coping, community, grief, prayer, and what it means to work through pain instead of finding shortcuts around it.

A softer conversation tonight… but an important one ✨

Mothers , particularly black ones are often taught to carry everything for everyone. But this episode is about learning that having limits doesn’t make you a bad parent. 🤍

We talk honestly about mental health, therapy, boundaries, and what it looks like to tell your child, “I can’t be your only support system.” And how those conversations can actually make our kids feel safer, not alone.
