Shout out to my brother on his birthday today!!!! I met Flip about two years ago at a rooftop party I was throwing in Bellevue. He mentioned to me that he used to work with some of my personal favorite artists like and even 3-6 Mafia (I was and still am a massive fan of Project Pat, Lil Wyte and DJ Paul, y'all) but had been out of the DJ game for some time, busy with family life and work as a tattoo artist and coach for his kids sports teams.

I asked if he ever thought about getting into it again - he said he in fact was.

Long story short, I booked him for the very next rooftop party and the guy had the whole crowd going absolutely nuts. It was a done deal after that, I wanted him to play at virtually every event I've thrown ever since and when his schedule allows, he always comes through and delivers.

Y'all give my homie some love, it's his 44th birthday!

Took a short break for a month while we got ourselves situated in Portland - with that mission accomplished, we're throwing another rooftop rager in Seattle on August 22nd fam!!

The lineup for this is absolutely bonkers you guys!

6-7pm will be getting things going to get us warmed up, shout out to this guy for always bringing some positive energy to these parties, they wouldn't be the same without him!

7-8pm makes his first premier at a Skylyne event and having seen what this guy can do behind the controller - y'all are gonna love this guy! Awesome guy that is clearly in this scene for this love and the music, make sure you give him a warm welcome!

8-9pm heeeeeees back! It's round 2 for our newest family member Fame Sounds, y'all caught him at our last Seattle rooftop party and we loved the guy's vibes and mixes so much we had to have him back again, shout out to Fame!

9-10pm we've got a couple of veterans of the Skylyne scene here - you all know em, you all love em, it's .duoproject the two part team consisting of .djska and for the post sunset vibes as we get into the night!

10-11pm will be making his first debut on the scene! I've checked out some of this cat's mixes and you guys are gonna love this dude, shout out to the Meow Squad!

10-11:45pm we've got coming back for her own 2nd round with the Skylyne family! She's yet again bringing us to the final hour before we close down for the night with that high energy and smiles that makes her sets so much fun, y'all be sure to welcome her back!

As always folks, y'all know the rules we live by at these:

Safety first above all else, know your limits, and keep in mind the safety of everyone else around you always.

Respect boundaries and remember consent is key here - keep your hands to yourself, folks!

Respect the building, the staff there, and our event staff as well!

No illegal substances at Skylyne Events guys - and please keep in mind we do ban, and enforce those bans.

The "big news" is here! We're officially rebranding from the old Rolling Bones name to "Skylyne Events". We're experimenting with different logo designs and considering different titles like "The Skylyne Club" "Society" and so forth but the general outline of plans is there: it's time we made a change that better fit the image, culture, and activities of what we do. Skylyne, with our tendency to focus on rooftop spaces, fits that better than our old name does.

A brief history of "us":
This year marks 20 years I've been doing social events in my life. My first time was in college, believe it or not - in World of Warcraft. I basically recruited several hundred of my classmates to the game and into our guild and when the weather got warm I'd organize huge BBQs and beach parties in places like Myrtle Beach, Folly Beach, Charleston and Savannah. They were hugely successful with 400+ attendees sometimes!

Fast-forward to present day, and I've been doing one shot community oriented events in Seattle since 2014, but Rolling Bones was born out of the post-pandemic world in 2022. I'd noticed there was a constant stream of posts about the Seattle freeze and how it was difficult for the introverts and shy folks to make meaningful connections and friends across social media, so my idea was: get them into a discord server, which at it's peak was 8.3k members, get them playing video games together, and then get them out to events to hang and make those connections they were struggling to make in their normal day to day lives.

While it definitely "worked" the amount of constant moderation it required was enormous and extremely taxing mentally. I decided to close up the server to just event announcements and after a few more months, just deleted it altogether. It was definitely the right call to make looking back. But, the old Rolling Bones name stuck for a while and now that we've shifted back to my roots from 2005-2020, I think it's time we have a rebranding that reflects that.

So here we are now: Skylyners!

It's been a journey, and I'm beyond grateful you all are still on this journey with us 🙏 Here's to another 20 years of connections 🫶🙂

Well, folks - I've recently made a decision that I wanted to let everyone know. I'll be moving to Portland towards the end of this month guys gals and nonbinary pals. We've decided to go ahead and open up a Portland branch of the Rolling Bones, with plans to expand further down the West Coast in the near future!
Parties in Seattle for Rolling Bones events will still continue to operate as normal however, and I estimate I'll still be throwing at least one party (mostly rooftop parties) at least once a month during the spring, summer and early fall seasons. Portland is only a couple hours away after all, and I'll probably still be present at all of them to make sure things go smoothly as they always have.

This coming April 19th, I'm having a going away party down at - we'll take over the Annex in Belltown, just $10 to get in, we'll have our usual friends and family, the Boneyard Crew, and hopefully all of your smiling faces will come through to give me a proper send-off and say bye before I pack my things and head a few hours south.

We'll just use Venmo again for this one instead of bothering with Eventbrite - capacity is around 220 total guests and I'd love to see you guys pack the place out if possible 🫶 if you're out at the protest that day, swing by Whisky Bar afterwards and have a drink with me, folks!

Come by and see me one last time Seattle! Event will likely start around 7pm and will go until closing time around 2am! 😎

It's not a "farewell party" - it's an "I'll see you later, probably once maybe twice a month party" 🙂

Really going to miss living here in this city, but I am definitely looking forward to expanding the Rolling Bones footprint up and down the West Coast, uniting people and seeing more smiling faces in more cities at more events.

There's some really big plans we have in the works for the future - and you'll all be a part of them and our journey. Love you all 🫶🫶🫶!!!!!!

Our dear friend, whom many of you know for DJing for many of our events and parties, for always being a positive person, smiling always for us, and bringing the best version of himself to us - has lost his dear sister to medical complications.

Her name was Thao. She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, and to Jeff, a beloved sister who helped to raise and mold him into the vibrant human being we all know and love.

Her loss has been difficult for him and his family to bear, and we in the Rolling Bones grieve with them at their side, shoulder to shoulder, in this moment.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of funeral and medical expenses so I ask all our friends in the Bones Tribe to donate, if you can, to alleviate some of this burden that they shoulder right now. Link will be available in my bio as well as on this post.

I can't thank you all enough for the hype and energy everyone is bringing to this, I know a lot of you have been waiting for these to start happening again and we're finally approaching spring, so March 8th from 6-11pm we'll be banging out beats and dancing 39 stories above downtown Seattle with amazing views of the sound as our background!!

As always, we try to bring the best and brightest, most talented DJs in the city to get you guys grooving and this lineup proves we deliver on that! Proud to have such awesome artists working with us!

Rooftop season is almost here and the first party of the year is popping off on March 8th!!! We're already almost finished with getting our DJ lineup finalized, our location is locked in, and we'll be ready to rock out as an unofficial after party spot for those of us going to ECCC as we'll be just a few blocks away from the convention center!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Today is the last day to get your $10 tickets to NYE at the Whisky Bar, folks! At midnight tonight, all remaining tickets will be $20 a piece. Most of us will be in our fancy ass clothes for this event but if you're not much of a "fancy ass" person (like me) well no worries, come wearing whatever you feel fits the vibe best!

Following that we'll have .music and with to bring in the countdown at midnight. And finally as our closers to bring the night to a perfect ending, two awesome ladies of the Sass Squad, and will be rocking our Christmas socks off to close out the evening 🎄

We'll have access to both sides of the venue, so head into the Annex to dance and vibe or if you want to take a break to go get a drink in a less noisy area, head to the front half!
